Sweden just had a PP, and are about to go on another one. Bergfors had a good chance, but his stick broke. Swedes are getting chances....Joenssu just saved a goal by taking down the Swedish player in front of the net.....EDIT, i guess no PP, though it looked like a penalty.....
 
Pierre McGuire is full of such crap. Did he just say Sweden shouldn't allow its players to wear #21???? And then talked about it for five minutes, ugh.

ah that's BS. btw has he had anything good to say about the swedes?
 
Bergfors and Backstrom are having very solid games up to this point. Another good chance for Backstrom this time....Every shift that line has seems to be in the Finnish end of the ice.....Finland gets a PP to end the period.....still 0-0 after 2 periods of play.....Sweden has been the better team, but can't put anything by Rask....

I actually found that conversation kind of amusing.

holy crap it says that sweden has 32-6 in shots after two. If we lose this game I will cry.

Tukonen has looked good tonight he had couple off good rushes but just couldn't finish it off. Rask has looked very solid in net for the Finns. Bergfors and Backstrom have been having a solid game.

Any goalie that has 37 stops in 2 periods has been more then solid.

Good to hear Tukonen is doing well. All us kings fans are rooting for him:).

That was my assumption, from reading this thread. I think Pete holds WJC scoring records and Pierre likes to latch on to players and prop them up to godlike status and no one else is good enough to even gaze at those demigods.
