it's sad watching the younger generation of Canadian hockey players dive and embellish and run up scores. And that's our captain lol. I guess standards were just a silly traditional idea that holds no real value. Or something. I sure miss them though. When they were held up as something for people to strive for. This is a horrible take, Virtanen has been a really solid 3 zone middle 6 winger this year.

On pace for ~20 goals and good possession stats.

Virtanen can shoot and skate. He was terrible in the World Juniors and has hands of stone. I watch the Canucks on a regular basis, and let's just say I'm not a fan.
