I guess standards were just a silly traditional idea that holds no real value. Or something. I sure miss them though. When they were held up as something for people to strive for. This is why I wish we were in the other pool. When you only play your one challenging opponent on New Year’s Eve, it doesn’t give you a lot of time to adjust before the medal round when you realize you’re not as good as you think you are.
