I'm tellin everyone...........all the bikering(and i sure as hell understand it)

The U.S-Can game is going to be fantastic.I can't wait for it.............a battle for the ages.

What a great game of hockey that should be!!!

Norway is probably going to quit the tournament now.

Thanks U.S.A. Thanks a lot.

Now the tournament organizers will probably have to re-make the schedule since Norway is probably going to quit out of embarrassment.

If you play in the CHL you can't play in the AHL if you are under 20. The NCAA you can play in the AHL if you are under 20.

That's just for the CHL. NCAA players can play in the AHL as soon as they leave school.

Thanks guys

Between you and HockeyCanada, you would not think that by reading this thread...

I was referring more to CH than you, but if you don't care how the Americans do, why bother getting involved in this thread?

I don't remember a beating like this since Canada beat France 15-0 a few years ago.

Only cause I got p'o'd that Prescription said it was Canadian Posters that were somehow expecting US to have problems against Norway.
It was a stupid comment.

I remember that game. That was brutal to watch. I felt sorry for the French players. I wonder if this is the most goals the US has scored at this tournament.

On the usahockey feed they said it's the most they've scored since the beat norway 19-1 in 1991 I believe

Didn't see that...I just looked it over and I don't see any Canadians saying the US will have trouble. jsut a bunch saying that they will be rooting against the US.

can't wait till this team Pwn's Canada
I'm tellin you, they'll have to get on some unheavenly roll to do that and i don't think they will.Canada(can you imagine that!!) is being underestimated..................they'll fight you guys hard and maybe win.You listen to some folks and think there's no talent....oh my God............theres lot's of talent.

But the ending story will be the goalie. He has to be GREAT.

19-1! :biglaugh:

Against Norway too. Norway lost 19-1 in 1991 against U.S.A., and they are losing 11-2 against U.S.A. tonight.

What is with Norway, that they insist on being the U.S.A.'s b**** in international hockey?

Well, I guess it's pretty clear Norway's the weakest team in this tournament. Nevertheless, a good victory for the U.S. The Bourque-Kessel-Porter line looks great as does the two Johnsons. Schneider hasn't had much work which is good/bad, but as long as the team can keep up the pressure on it's opponents it shouldn't be a huge issue. I'll be interested to see how the U.S. plays in it's next game against Finland.

Oh I don't doubt that Canada has alot of talent but the US has too much fire power for Canada to contain.
