That game is going to be amazing.
Oh ,i know it's going to be.The U.S is the type of team that if you make too many(or any) mistakes they'll kick the s$%t out of you.But if you can stand up and play good percentage hockey.......................then we've got our game. And it'll be a classic.

This year.......it's more up to Canada then the U.S to make the PRIMO game. But if we get it...............look out.

Heres a news flasah for you. Most Canadians could really care less about the Americans. All they really care about is having Canada win.

Between you and HockeyCanada, you would not think that by reading this thread...

Wonderful. Get back to me when you win a meaningful game.
The US team is playing well tonight. If they were only winning by 2-1 then they might be concerned. It's going to come down to the New Year's Eve game between Canada and the USA. I don't know why you are bashing the USA team they have a good team.

I am not bashing the US by any stretch of the imagination. I am just trying to tell some posters that beating a weak team by a large margin is not uncommon in this tournament.

I guess Chorney is Lee's partner tonight, but I guess Lee is a puck hog because I haven't heard Taylor's name!!!

I got so far:
Kessel-2 assists on IIHF, but Jim Rich has him with 3 assists.
Erik Johnson-1 goal and 2 assists
Mueller-1 goal and 1 assist
Bourque-3 goals on IIHF, but Rich has him with an assist as well
Porter-1goal and 2 assists
J. Johnson-1 assist
Schremp-1 assist
Doesn't seem Bobby Ryan is playing much. It'd be nice to see him get on a roll. We'll need him to be rolling vs. Finland and Canada. It seems that Kyle has somewhat called off the dogs as Schremp and Ryan aren't playing much....scratch that he just scored.

I am pretty sure most of them realize that.

I was checking the game notes for tonight and Ryan is the 13th forward.

No Schremp or Ryan? gotta get them moving if not.First game................lot's of time.

Just wondering, I see Bourque plays in the AHL, and he did last season as well...how is he allowed to? I thought if you were a North American you coulnd't play in the league until your 20? Or is it just if you played in the CHL and the NCAA you are allowed to?

If you play in the CHL you can't play in the AHL if you are under 20. The NCAA you can play in the AHL if you are under 20.

That's just for the CHL. NCAA players can play in the AHL as soon as they leave school.

i was wondering what you guys thought of gerbe? buffalo drafted him and im excited to see him again. Do you think he could make the nhl?

i forgot how good usa's roster was going to be this year. If only the olympic team would straighten out a few spots.

Why are people posting on how meaningless the game is? All hockey games are about pride. I mean we don't get paid if our team wins the cup or the gold-medal. We only get the satisfaction and enjoyment of our team's success. If you enjoy the brutalisation of Norway then that is exactly what you get out of the game. The same could be said of your team winning the Stanley Cup. So if this game is meaningless to you then you are the one missing out (unless you were chearing for Norway).
