I truly don’t understand these people. Canada is a good team, year in year out. Why do people take so much national pride in it? Like it’s a matter of life and death. Canada has a ton of skill and leaves first rounders and second rounders at home every year, even with 8-9 guys not available they have a team good enough to win gold. Will they? Who knows, a lot has to come together, like every year. It’s more fun this way IMO, I love that other teams have developed and can compete with Canada. I also don’t know how you watch this game so far and come to the conclusion Canada is out skilled lol I was at the WJC in Ostrava in 2019/20, I remember when Canada got beat 6-0 by Russia in the prelims, the mood around my hotel that night and next was depressing because everyone was assuming the team was terrible and weren’t going to win anything. A few hundred people were legitimately looking at flying home early. Needless to say, they won gold against Russia. No point in getting worked up after a bad game. Same with last year losing 5-2 to Czechia in the first game.

The more fans you have the more bad apples, simple. Czechs are the most decent in here. But Sweden, Canada, the US and Finland are pretty much the same imho. A few slovaks tend to get mad in here as well.

This generalizing thing going on in here is pretty ridiculous and lame.

You're right especially for a top 10 pick there hasn't been much talk about him. He's been kinda quiet in the WHL, but he almost made Detroit this season. Impressive kid.

Dude I made a comment based on watching sloppy play. Don't think it needs a huge rebuttal. Watch the game take it easy. I like to win. Who doesn't?
