Slovak team is heavy, greasy and very opportunistic in this game. Canada's defense has been very suspect in this third period. Slovak's asserting themselves.

These are the games you want to get a read on elite prospects moreso than yawning blowouts against Washington General esque teams in round robin play. This has been an excellent hockey game.

For a team led by “the next one”, an exit here in a watered down tournament with a very deep Canada squad would be a massive failure. McDavid had that one tourney where they did poorly but he was the youngest player (16) in 2014.
