Putin is a crazy dictator, i don't support him and didn't vote for him.
All the same, you are in favor of reparations and persecutions when it comes to Russia, but USA and its allies are above such nonsense?

We’ve had our tussles in world wars and other conflicts but those have been in support of others. The US and Denmark have been our only invasions AFAIK, other than the whole First Nations genocide thing at the beginning, and theres some reparations for that one
 
Get real people. Enough of the virtue signalling.

The only reason the IIHF banned Russia is because Putin invaded a European country. If he invaded some place in the mideast or Africa the IIHF wouldn't give a shit.

Canada? nato member, as such it has a lot of blood ot its hands. For example, you country took part in bombing the crap out of Yugoslvavia in 1999, killing thousands civilians along the way, and redrawing its borders.

That’s not politics when a massive nation like Russia starts a war against their many times smaller neigbors. That is pure evil and oppression. And that is what the civilized world will absolutely have to counter with all the possible means they can use without going to war themselves. So of course the whole Russian nation and every person living there will face the consiquences, no matter if they have been supporting the evil actions themselves or not. It exacty creates pressure towards the whole nation, and at least makes the normal Russian citizens question how their nation is lead and what is it really doing that causes the rest of the world to not accept Russians in the same way as most other nationalities are accepeted. It might sound harsh to some Russians, but it just simply is inevitable in this kind of a situation.

”Innocent” people in Russia aren’t still experiencing even close to the injustice that the people of Ukraine are experiencing right now. I wonder why you aren’t paying attention to that?

Anyway the ”innocent” Russians aren’t really innocent after all, if they just close their eyes and don’t make a stand against their government. Or if they are too afraid to do it, then just simply get out and resign yourself of the country that is lead by such terrible tyranny. I know this may sound harsh to some Russians, but as long as the Russian people don’t feel enough of pressure all around them to really start making a stand against their leaders, they just have to suffer from the consiquences, because until they make a real stand, they simply aren’t innocent.

I know, It’s a cruel world, and Russia has made it much crueller recently.

Pop quiz: Who has killed more civilians: Russia during it's invasion of Ukraine or Canada during the NATO campaign in the former Yugoslavia?

Since you're all invested in the whataboutism thing.

But let's set aside the war/invasion angle.

Russia deserves to be excluded simply on the basis of the state sanctioned efforts to cheat their way to victory. Until that garbage gets cleaned up, Russia should be excluded from every international competion, no matter the sport.

The Soviet Union killed hundreds of thousands of German civilians, you seem to still celebrate that to much fanfare.

Destroying totalitarian/authoritarian genocidal regimes is a good idea.

Be it Serbia, Iraq or Russia, fighting evil is, in fact, a noble thing. Murdering innocent, freedom-loving people on purpose is the exact opposite.

Fascist irridentism, expansionism is what defines evil. And that is something you have in common with Nazi Germany. You just don't seem to realize that.

Your leaders manufacture a false, North Korean-esque narrative and you just eat all that shit up with a smile on your face.

Either you're complicit or mind numbingly ignorant. No other way around it.

Bombing murderous regimes invading other countries is justifiable. Attacking a country just because it wants to choose its own destiny is just plain evil.

And evil regimes always end up in the same way. In the dustbin of history, one way or another.
