so Ritchie has not impressed?
I’m not really looking for him. Have noticed him once in a while. Doesn’t look half bad but no wow factor.

I don’t like Heidt. Nothing specific even just not into him.

In a YT clip a guy mentioned Barlow has trouble accepting passes on the rush, like if he’s in motion or they’re coming a bit behind him. That is noticeable. Plays it like he’s hearing footsteps and someone’s gonna step up on him. Probably a minor thing. His shot is slick and he can turn any rush, even like a 1-on-3, into a decent chance with his release and how he uses defenders as a screen.

Always skeptical of those goal scoring wingers because if the rest of their game isn’t great they’ll never be in a position to score at the highest level. From Dal Colle to Brendl. Don’t necessarily see that from Barlow at all but it’s just a thought I have when I hear about “pure shooters.”

I’m liking Wahlberg, Stenberg or Andrew Gibson for a late pick. They might still be there at our 3rd.

Not saying it’s what I want but if this pick is not traded to Ottawa for Alex DeBrincat I’ll be shocked.

It is coco bananas for the Sens to consider trading Debrincat, does he not want to re-sign there?

Hellebuyck.

Or Gibson @ 50% with Granlund going back.

I'd accept either of those options instead of trading the #1 for DeBrincat. Nothing personal against the player, but he's just the type to make Sully think "Oooooh, it's 2016 again!" and continue to be a zombie behind the bench while DeBrincat gets mugged on every shift and is lucky to get to 15 goals for the season (10 of them on the power play).

as the end of year torments' come to an end, i think/hope that the ranking start to fall in order. so we should have a better consensus on where players end up ranking. team usa has kind of dominated the under 18's so i except to see their whole top line move up in the rankings. and some others who didn't play have increased their value also.

ASP had a really strong game in the final. Really the only game in the tournament where I thought he looked worthy of a 14th overall pick. Leonard scored the GWer but overall wasn’t as noticeable in this game as he was previously.

I just think they don’t get him signed. They have the upper hand when it comes to talks and I don’t see him accepting the 6 mil that they will max out at.

Based on this tourney and being able to do apples-to-apples comparisons I’d rank ‘em

Wood
ASP
Leonard
Smith
Barlow
Dvorsky
Moore
Sale
I heard a Wood and Tkachuk comparison on one of these sites. Any truth to that for you?

I think Hellebuyck is a great and pretty consistent goalie, but if the option is available to trade the Pens' first rounder for one goalie on a team about to initiate a rebuild this year, I think I'd lean toward Saaros. He's almost two years younger, makes less money, and I think he's a little better. That also might make him harder to acquire.

I don’t think trading for a goalie does anything with the coach and the system we play. It’s just throwing assets away.
I agree with this. That's why I disagree with a lot of the dislike here for Jarry. If your defensive system is garbage, you're basically hanging your goalie out to dry.

You can't be serious with Injarry. He's another Injarry away from playing beer league.

For everyone so paranoid about Michkov, several top Russian prospects just signed ELC’s today. I hope the new GM makes every effort to get up to grab this guy when he falls for GM’s being morons.
We have nothing to trade up and he’s not going to fall to 14…I know, let’s hope we win the lottery…

Could see whether or not he comes over for the combine and draft itself being a factor.
