30M won’t get you Soumare. It would probably be closer to 50M just based on the demand for a player that level at that age.
In covid, I don't know if those deals that high will get done...Werner went for like 45 million and that's beyond half of what he's worth. I don't think 30 gets Soumare, but 40 million definitely does.

I’ve definitely though Grealish would be Zaha like where I don’t think he’d thrive at top club, but this season he’s been unreal. He’d be a great fit next to Auba.
Yes the introduction of Watkins and Barkley has convinced me that Grealish can be a top player at a big club. I also was leaning more towards a Zaha type player, but the link up plays he's been making with those two guys have been unreal.

Lol dummy me, no wonder why they got him for so cheap. That actually begs the question why none of the bigger teams went after him like Man City who desperate need someone to release Aguero.
I think it was more of the idea of consistent playing time. At most of the top clubs Werner wouldn’t get as much playing time. Especially at City who have Aguero and Jesus.

You mean the injured Kun/Jesus? He'd definitely start there he'd also start for Barca+Madrid

Does a package of Ozil, Mustafi, and Xhaka actually have value? Like does anyone believe these two offers are equivalent:

100M

50M + Ozil, Mustafi, Xhaka

It’s not that he won’t start it’s that Werner’s only competition at Chelsea is Giroud (who never plays) and Abraham who he is clearly better than. Everywhere else there’s either strikers where there’s an argument about who is better or just too many options they have to keep happy.

Mustafi is probably worth 10M max on a team that has blinders on right now. He might rebound tbh. But his value is very low.
Ozil is free or bust.
Xhaka is roughly the same as Mustafi.

20M for the trio.

Yet he's now stuck on the left wing lol...which isn't necessarily a bad thing because he's looked extremely good there. But strikers are prideful enough that they want to play centre, even Auba as captain told the reporters he prefers to play as #9 even though I think he's better on the left side as well.

It doesn't matter at all how much we get for them, the main purpose is to get them off our our wage bill as soon as possible. And it just isn't Xhaka, it's Mustafi, Ozil, Sokratis, Chambers, Kolasinac, and I would like to add Willian to that list that need to GTFO. We're also still loaning Torreira and Mavropanos which both need to be sold.

Ozil would seem to have negative value going to a team like Villa though. He's gonna have high wage demands and he doesn't bring much to the table.

I mean he would easily start for barca/madrid.

Side note kun injured again. City have to make a play for a striker now in january

Werner hasn't even played as a typical striker in most of the games this season. He's played on the left fairly often with Abraham or Giroud in the middle.
