Thankfully they're all okayCovid is so weird, my 89 year old Dad got it a couple of weeks ago. He has scarred lungs, uses a puffer, broke a hip in June.....all he got was a runny nose. All 14 residents in his wing are negative now and none if them got very sick. All vaccinated and boosted though.
It's kind of the natural progression of a virus, it evolves to become spreadable and less deadly with every mutation. Whichever strain went through them was fortunately a weakened one (and I assume they all had vaccines to buffer their immunity to it as well). It's not the beast it was in March 2020.
