Sorry about the doctor. Yeah, if I was you I'd try to find another one.

The puppies are adorable

It's been a ongoing thing with this man. Sometimes I feel indebted to him because he helped me in my anxiety journey and diagnosis and trauma related things. But as a doctor, he's not quite...there. And as a woman, I need to be heard when it comes to things. Sigh. I hope you feel better!

I was wondering about CBD for my arthritis in my hips.

Amanda and I are supposed to go to St Martin the first week of Dec. for my 70th birthday. My hips are bad of late. They need to be replaced. I am going to see the surgeon Tuesday. I am hoping they can give me a couple of shots to get me through until next year.

I am going to ask about CBD too.

Hip replacement isn't what it used to be. A father of a friend of mine was on skis 90 days after his and the recovery time was so short he was up and about in a couple of days and felt reborn to be able to move around at will and without pain. Game changing, at least for him.

For sure it is. I worked with an older gentleman in his 50s that had 'double hip surgery' (he was like 6'6 and a moose) and he was back to work in a week and I was shocked. Granted we weren't doing much of a physical job soldering electronic components etc.

So, I have some exciting news. After 16 years in HR, I'm trying something "new" for the first time in a while. I've been asked by ownership at my company to take on a bigger role within the organization pushing business objectives forward across departments and will be moving into the Chief Operating Officer position.

I'm simultaneously psyched, humbled, and terrified - which I think is an awesome combination. I remember when I was a senior in college talking about what our career goals were and I randomly threw out that I was going to be a COO by the time I was 40 (I'll be 40 in August). Despite not really knowing what a COO does outside of what you learn in business classes...apparently my 21 year old self wasn't as dumb as I thought she was.
Well done!!! A couple of unsolicited observations having worked with CX and seen this front and center over the years. COO are always trying to find a way to reconcile a square hole and a round peg (or vice versa). Key is the Board and CEO deciding if the priority is round or square (revenue, profit, ROWC, ROIC, etc, etc). Get that super clear from the CEO / Board and the "no's" become easier to communicate and articulate. PM/DM me and happy to connect and discuss further (and no I'm not a consultant...). And congrats again.

I inow lots of folks that have had it done. Nearly all said best thing they ever did.
Only know of one that hasnt worked out. Its her own fault, to me, because she never followed through with the post surgery physical therapy.
unfortunately, its my sister.

So many hip replacements, ever wonder why? Doctors call it osteoarthritis or wear and tear. But the root cause is probably a lifetime of inflammatory dieting. Sugar and grains along with a litany of preservatives and additives cruising through the body, and poor gut biome bacteria absorbed in to the bloodstream. It's epidemic.

I know you are into the holistic stuff but when it comes to joints, most issues are due to genetics or an injury of some kind you may not remember.

My back issues are due to my ankle injuries as well as genetics. When I was in a boot and on crutches for almost a full year, they neglected to give me a lift on the other side so my hips were knocked out of alignment.

I am hyper mobile in all of my joints. I had no idea until I started having problems. Been in PT for weeks and had trigger point injections. My paraspinal muscles are locked up so when I get home from my trip I will resume PT/chiro care and get additional shots so I can ramp up my core program and finally get a massage.

Don't want this to turn into a political conversation, or a debate on the merits of crypto investing. I've got strong opinions on that that I'll keep to myself. What I will say, is that a lot of speculative investors, or those who get their tips from social media, have already gotten hammered. That's sad, and a lesson learned the hard way.

Bankman-Fried better have good lawyers, that's all I have to say, because this isn't gonna end well for him from a legal standpoint.

I'm still long on bitcoin despite the 60% correction this year. But the speculative get rich quick meme coins were always a bad idea.

I respectfully disagree. Osteoarthritis is the number 1 cause of hip/knee replacements. Osteo is the so called wear and tear disease. Then we have Rheumatoid Arthritis, the autoimmune disorder. Both of these are very likely provoked by chronic inflammation due to our Western Diet and chemicals added to it,as well as decades of use. Medical information doubles every day,but still they preach that a fatty diet causes heart disease and whole grains are healthy, both of those claims are absolutely wrong too. Chronic inflammation wears down everything, including the autoimmune system. Many people who clean up their diet see their arthritis symptoms ease,if not disappear. Unfortunately, once your autoimmune system breaks down, its permanent. I do agree that genes are a factor, but not enough to excuse away other factors. I hear witness to too many turn arounds from all these ailments to discount the root cause-food.

Well I’ll listen to my Harvard educated doctors from one of the top hospitals in the world

This story is going to get very interesting I think, before it's all said and done. And yes, SBF is going to need some very very good lawyers. One interesting aspect of whatever comes of this is that US law (or really any country's law) has not come close to keeping up with advances in the crypto market. I do fear that repercussions from this year's spectacular crypto failures will be an overreaction from lawmakers, which will seek to remove one of the primary draws of crypto - decentralization.

Crazy BTC was at almost $70k about a year ago
All time high was one year ago, this past Monday. Still room to the downside, too.
