What are the Junior Kings/Ducks exactly? And how old is his son?
They're under 18 AA and AAA teams that operate in their respective teams' practice arenas. His son's 17.

They could roll with the following if they bring up Shore (or Weal):
Gaborik-Kopitar-Brown
King-Richards-Carter
Clifford-Stoll-Williams
Andreoff-Shore-Lewis
No need for Jordan Nolan anymore.
Brown/Kopitar/Gabo ---Brown ends up on the left side anyway.
King/Carter/Williams
Clifford/Stoll/Lewis
Richards/Shore/Nolan or Andy
Looks fine to me. Life goes on. This is a solid lineup. Defense needs help still, though.

17. His older brother Eemil plays for Santa Margarita High School.
As it should be.
We're watching some pretty damn exciting hockey thanks to these guys. Just hoping we get to keep watching it until the beginning of summer.
i wonder what kinda shape Penner is in ? i kid sorta
This years a wash in my book. Time to retool, refill the prospect cupboard, and maybe trade some older guys at the deadline for a high markup...
I agree, unfortunately DL will not give up on the season.
Might as well plug some AHL guy in the spot, probably give the same production Penner would.
Wow. Pearson AND Toffoli out? Broken ankle for Pearson? Unbelievable. It's like the sports Gods give us two stanley cups and says that's enough! **** you guys, here's Voynov out for the year because he beat up his girlfriend. Here's an injury to Gaborik, Kopitar for a little, Toffoli now, Pearson, Martinez, Muzzin, Regehr. Am I missing anyone? Ridiculous.
And how are we SO bad in the shootout?

I wouldn't go THAT far... they'll bounce back. Maybe not to a cup contending level but they'll be a playoff team. Then again, might as well miss the playoffs completely if they're gonna get bounced in the first round.
A few years back the Sharks struggled big time and had a sort of mini rebuild on the fly, got rid of some veterans like Murray, Clowe and Handzus mid season. It really sparked the team and turned their season around completely, it also gave them a bunch of assets. Not sure it's possible for the Kings, they seem spread too thin already and there might not be guys ready to step up in the farm but it'd be something to consider at least. And if they can't get a deal done with Williams you just know some team would pay an incredible price for his services and playoff heroics.
Whatever, just thinking out loud. I'd prefer it if they just got their **** together and started locking games down again. Never thought I'd be missing those 40 to 20 shots 0-1 losses but we at least know that kind of hockey pays off once the playoff starts. I don't know what to call this, it's so uncharacteristic of this team. Give Terry Murray a call, he'll sort out the defensive end in no time![]()
