Leg Fracture, he is going to be sitting around not moving. No skating what so ever.

Yeah. Pray it's a clean break with no soft tissue and MAYBE he's back for a long playoff run but will look like Gagne at that point. IF that's the case.

Why use Lewis (or Doughty or Richards) in the shootout, you ask? Kings are 0-19 in recent shootout attempts and only 2-25 this season.

I'm starting to think that they should just miss the playoffs and get a decent draft pick this year. That way Lombardi can retool in the offseason and the guys can rest. Our window is closing fast and I don't see them making a dent in the playoffs (or even making the playoffs) this year. Not with the competition they'll be facing. Its a better long term strategy to wait until next year, as disappointing as that sounds right now...

Went from a great day for him making the rookie all star team, to probably missing the rest of the season with an injury.

Pearson creates a top 6 hole and unfortunately no serious cap relief because his salary is so low.

Dean has his work cut out for him, awful defense and now holes on the wing that can't be fixed in-house without also killing the 1-2 punch of Kopi-Carter and limited cap space to do it.
