I heard the CFL basically told teams do not sign this player.

I think they even implied whoever signed him, he would be facing further, longer suspensions.

Still came across as odd to me that he wasn’t formally discharged from the league; rather, he was just cut from a team.

Well, he was on the CFL “Honour Roll” last week and O’Shea went out of his way to say Jeffcoat’s presence is a big reason why Willie looks like a DPOY candidate right now. But I feel as if by defending him (no pun intended) I’m just setting myself up to be the jinx that causes another injury.

He had a pass knockdown last game. He actually had a really strong game last game with several QB pressures, a knockdown. He looked finally healthy. Be interesting to see if he can continue to positive momentum or not.

In other news Janarion is heading to the 6 game. So looks like it'll be McCrae returning for a while. Agudosi gets back in the lineup though which is nice.

People are trying to figure out what kind of deal Jones is on - will be important for the next steps, especially given the stupid coach's cap - hearing reports he's on a full four year contract.

See I read earlier this year it's a 4 year deal, but the way the contract is worded it's basically 4 1 year deals, so EDM can cut bait with him at the end of any season and not have it affect their staff cap at all.
