He was pretty insistent that it was one or the other between McManus and Walters
He was also pretty insistent that Vernon Adams was the league MOP this year so I must admit he has the same credibility as a walking, talking banana who just pounded back a triple rye and coke at a dingy dive bar in a west end town because he thought it would impress the young, blonde, walking, talking, passion fruit at the other end of the room and is now paying dearly for this lapse in judgment as he feels quite ill — or, in more succinct terms — the same credibility as you and I.

Woot! Two more years of Grey Cup losses! :partytime:

Too soon?
Ya no shite to soon! But you knew that already.

As much credibility as Corey Perry anyways.

If Buck becomes their HC, I'll bet quite a few jump to the Riders. I mean, the only team that can beat the Bombers is the Bombers, right?

I doubt he’s sticking around here in any case. He gave the PLD answer when reporters asked him if he hopes to re-sign with the Bombers

Yeah, I'm just thinking that if Buck leaves, and I don't think it's even a guarantee that he even accepts the job if it's offered, that the most logical springboard to a starting spot for Brown is with Buck at head coach.

I think Buck has probably earned the ability to be picky about the team he chooses. Didn't he turn Montreal down last year? I'm guessing that was a combination of factors, namely their dysfunctional ownership situation (now resolved?), and a handful of players openly saying how poorly run the team was. But now teams like Edmonton are musing about selling to private owners and that might keep him away :dunno:

Saskatchewan might be a questionable landing spot if they don't immediately turn the ship around and O'Day loses his job. The head coach might only have as much security as O'Day does.

If Buck is offered and takes the Riders job good for him and good luck, he is going to need it. Brown will go to which ever team offers him the best opportunity and contract. Riders are in a deep hole team wise atm fans stayed away in droves last year and I hear they are going to charge more for tickets this year.
