Collaros just doesn't seem to make the big throws in the big game the last two grey cups. With the running game we had it should have been a cake walk.

just felt wpg have no short passing game to go to in tight games to keep possession

Contract isn’t guaranteed. They could cut him and promote Brown. But they won’t
doubt if brown is the answer....they gonna have to go on a real serious QB search off season

You are going to see changes on the field, coaching wise and maybe in management. As for Collaros might be time to move on from him and sign Brown for next year. Also find a F N punter

They do but ZC is in love with the deep ball. With Demski, Wolitarsky and Oliveira you have a short passing game.

Bombers had the ball for nearly three quarters worth of length and got beat by nearly every single Als big play that targeted Houston and Parker on the defence, and on the final drive instead of providing them any sort of support, Richie Hall throws his entire defence at the Als line that's been stuffing the blitzes all game and - guess what - beats Houston on a big play again. You can hate Collaros' INT in the end zone (and Oliveira's fumble earlier on too) but the Bombers offence was otherwise extremely efficient - this Als offence should have come no where close to putting up 28 points and that is all sort of infuriating to cope with.
This is exactly right.

Bubble screen killed the bombers D all game…. Then they finally faked a bubble screen and went deep… set that play up all game and the D took the bait when it was set.

Zach Collaros has 300K guaranteed in 2025. Anyone thinking we are moving off him are kidding themselves. This is Zach's team. Two beyond flukey wins in Grey Cups isn't changing that fact. This team is gonna be run back. Let's just hope they remember to show up next year in the big one.

These f***ing guys. You either die a hero or live long to see yourself become a villian.

Im justa casual bombers fan, but if they had won, would the team still undergo drastic changes or light it up on fire? Seemed like it coulda gone either way.

its gonna be a lot more difficult next season to get to the big one...and who knows what changes will be made off season......

Also, playing Bighill was inspirational... for the Als who found him in coverage for an easy passing TD.

Farhan Lalji made it sound like the Bombers would likely need to choose one of McManus or Walters this offseason. I wonder if that's accurate and if so who they go with.
He was way off off in his speculation about O'Shea.

Hall has really creative blitz packages in the first half and slowly reverts to loading up the line hoping something will break through

I think montreal saw how Halls D doesn't tighten up until the red zone and went for a big play midfield - gutsy call. Maybe a timeout would have helped but I don't know...

There has been talked about Walters wanting to slow things down in his life, we shall see

It's a game of inches. We get the TD instead of the interception by throwing into the flats to a wide open receiver, we win. We don't make the 3rd down stand at the end of the half, we lose by more.

We were still a good team, we were in it until the last drive.

Edit: that said, we had far more opportunities to win, and blew several chances to put the game away. Multiple unforced errors... And I hated the defensive playcalling - if I'd make one change, it would be getting a new D coordinator...
