The scoring is nice, but I LOVE reading this as well:
“Almost every time Buchelnikov appears on the ice, he is superbly active both with and without the puck,” noted KHL TV commentator Anton Vasyatin. “Now he is a key player for the team.”

Recent analytics provided by the KHL Smart Puck show Buchelnikov and Maxim Mamin of CSKA Moscow as the faster skaters in the KHL. Each has displayed a top seed of 39.5 km/h. He’s also among the most accurate passers in the league. He accurately connected on 335 of his passes.

This is really good news about Butch. I see hes under contract for 25-26 season with Vityaz
Is he expected to play that out then cross the pond for 26-27?

Depends on who you ask. But I think the "wink wink" expectation is that he will be in North America NEXT season.
In couple occasions KHL players just brake their contracts and moved to NHL, Mitchkov was one of them.
Is his linemate and could help Buchelnikov to adopt in N A. GR should get both of them next season

He'll probably go back to Russia if he doesn't make the roster. He'll be 22 so if hes good enough to make the team and has a good camp I'd have np putting him in

We dont need to have every prospect rot in the ahl till 23-24

I haven't seen anywhere suggest this but if he can make the team, go for it. I wouldnt be surprised if he played another year in the KHL and walked onto Detroit the year after though. I don't think a KHL superstar is going to come ride the bus in the AHL when he's still got a year on his contract over there.

Him clocking the fastest speed in the league is a nice development too

I hope it’s more than a wink. Changes have to be made now. Personnel and coaching. Outshot every game eexcept a couple and we lost those. Underperforming vets need to be replaced. At least the kids would show enthusiasm. Problem with my theory now is the two I want up more than anyone else from the Griffs are hurt, Mazur and Wallinder

Well of course you haven't "seen" it. How many KHL prospects come to their NHL city to train, for a tour and to meet management before even signing a contract? He's leading his team in scoring and 3rd in KHL scoring, do you think Yzerman will let him sit there another year when there are multiple recent examples of good young players getting out of their contracts and coming over? Him getting out from under SKA was a huge step and makes it easier to leave.
