Buch was, not Artamonov. He was eligible for the 2021 draft.

Sorry thought we were talking about Artamonov. He was eligible for the 2021 draft.
I was talking about Buch of course.why would I be talking about Artamonov?Buch was, not Artamonov.
Because that's who the overager comment was about?I was talking about Buch of course.why would I be talking about Artamonov?
It must be that I am blocking someone, because everything was about Buch until I mentioned he was an overager.Because that's who the overager comment was about?
Depends on who you ask. But I think the "wink wink" expectation is that he will be in North America NEXT season. This is really good news about Butch. I see hes under contract for 25-26 season with Vityaz
Is he expected to play that out then cross the pond for 26-27?
In couple occasions KHL players just brake their contracts and moved to NHL, Mitchkov was one of them.Depends on who you ask. But I think the "wink wink" expectation is that he will be in North America NEXT season.
He'll probably go back to Russia if he doesn't make the roster. He'll be 22 so if hes good enough to make the team and has a good camp I'd have np putting him inIn couple occasions KHL players just brake their contracts and moved to NHL, Mitchkov was one of them.
Is his linemate and could help Buchelnikov to adopt in N A. GR should get both of them next seasonDerek Barach - Stats, Contract, Salary & More

I haven't seen anywhere suggest this but if he can make the team, go for it. I wouldnt be surprised if he played another year in the KHL and walked onto Detroit the year after though. I don't think a KHL superstar is going to come ride the bus in the AHL when he's still got a year on his contract over there.Depends on who you ask. I hope it’s more than a wink. Changes have to be made now. Personnel and coaching. Outshot every game eexcept a couple and we lost those. Underperforming vets need to be replaced. At least the kids would show enthusiasm. Problem with my theory now is the two I want up more than anyone else from the Griffs are hurt, Mazur and WallinderI haven't seen anywhere suggest this but if he can make the team, go for it. Him clocking the fastest speed in the league is a nice development too
Well of course you haven't "seen" it. How many KHL prospects come to their NHL city to train, for a tour and to meet management before even signing a contract? He's leading his team in scoring and 3rd in KHL scoring, do you think Yzerman will let him sit there another year when there are multiple recent examples of good young players getting out of their contracts and coming over? Him getting out from under SKA was a huge step and makes it easier to leave.I haven't seen anywhere suggest this but if he can make the team, go for it. I hope we trade Tarasenko and get something like second. For next season I hope Lombardi, Danielson and Mazur all in NHL. I just don't see too many Rockies in the team at same timeHalf-baked speculation on my part, but I wonder if having another Russian in Tarasenko next year is partly about giving Buch the chance to be comfortable with a fellow native around.
You don't see too many rookies same time but you named 3 lol . I think theyll leave lombardi down another year to get stronger . Pelikka might be ready + buchelnikov ... we have no choice ... soderblom probably gone but also now or never ... all yzermans doingI hope we trade Tarasenko and get something like second. Debrincat larkin raymond
Buchelnikov kasper compher
Mazur danielson copp
Rasmussen veleno ?
Edvinsson Seider
Chiarot Pellika

The player have to negotiate and pay for their own buy out. It is because of salary cap reasons, I believe. The NHL doesn't have a transfer agreement with the KHL, but I would guess there's money involved. KHL teams aren't gonna let their players walk for free, and young kids aren't gonna have the money to buy out their own contract. So it's probably up to Stevie and Chris....
Forgot about berggren and albert but considering hes on the 4th line again after playing good wouldnt surprise me to see him gone. You left out Burger and AlJo. Tank has another year on his contract. Holl and Gus do as well. Even then, that looks like another lineup that won't see the playoffs.
Debrincat Larkin Raymond

Danielson Compher Tank

Edit: Given what the roster looks like, I think MBN has a better chance of making the team than Buch.

Burger and AlJo are RFA, and considering how bad the recent UFA signings have been, Stevie might as well keep his RFAs and not go dumpster diving for more garbage UFAs.Forgot about berggren and albert but considering hes on the 4th line again after playing good wouldnt surprise me to see him gone.
I'd say if buchelnikov continues to light it up he has a better chance (unless his contract says otherwise)
Nygard hasn't been lighting it up and I can see him being delayed a year so we dont have another top 15 pick turn into a bottom line guy
Buchelnikov mazur danielson pelikka cossa next year (provided pelikka buch cossa continue to play all out)
Nygard lombardi wallinder/buium in 2 yrs
wouldnt shock me to see a mazur wallinder/buium lombardi soderblom berggren be involved in a big deal at some point ... way too many guys
