He must be playing a lot since he was on the ice for all 6 goals. Looked up his last 5 games and he's been on the ice for 21/40 of all goals.Flint lost tonight 5-1

I heard a rumor within the college hockey world that he intends to test free agency, so my hopes of him signing with Detroit are not very high. Then again, I can't substantiate the rumor, so fingers crossed.Mastrosimone with 21p in 19gp.
Does he get a contract from the wings or does he walk?

The rumor makes sense. I doubt Detroit is going to sign him, and he gets some good coin.
I would include him in a trade with Arizona, nothing much.
Bonuses are in play. If there is a bidding war there will be a difference. He gets the same amount of money regardless of what team signs him.

Lombardi scored 2 even strength goals tonight in a 4-3 Flint loss.
Most of them? Kids having low numbers is pretty much the Swedish trademark.I'm hoping Kasper will be the next one to do so next year. Raymond and Kopitar were both significantly more productive as rookies in the NHL than they were in the Swedish league the previous season. They were both NHL rookies in their D+2 years.
Raymond scored 18 points in 34 (about a 44 point pace over 82 games) in Sweden before scoring 57 with the Wings the following year and Kopitar only scored 20 points in 47 games ((about a27 point pace over 72 games) before scoring 61 in 72 with the Kings the following.
Are there any other players who were more productive as NHL rookies than they were in their previous season in Sweden?

Zetterberg scored 32 points in 48 games in Sweden (53 pint pace over 79 games) the year before scoring 44 in 79 games as a rookie with the Wings

I mean, how many teenagers join the league out of Sweden? Sundin? Backstrom? Hedman? Dahlin?Zetterberg scored was more productive in Sweden than he was as a rookie with the Wings the following year

Elias Pettersson is another teenager to join the NHL out of Sweden but even though he almost scored a point a game (66 in 71) he was even more productive the previous year in Sweden on points per game basis scoring 56 in 44. Sundin is another one who was more productive in his rookie year in the NHL scoring 59 in 80 while only scoring 18 in 34 (about 43 in 80 pace) in Sweden the year before.I mean, how many teenagers join the league out of Sweden? Seider had very similar if not higher production in the NHL.Name another other than Raymond and Kopitar

Gylander needs more love. 2.41 GAA and a .921% SV is quite good for a goalie playing for a lower tier NCAA team.
My favorite goalie prospect and quite a sleeper pick. Probably gets a 4th season at Uni, but there is no rush.
You can literally say that about the CHL and the U20 Swedish and junior leagues as well. The tip of the pyramid is very, very small for everyone.Gylander is nothing more than a curiosity for me so far. I hope he turns into something, but I'm a long-time college hockey fan, and the list of NCAA goalies who put up impressive numbers in college and then do absolutely squat as a pro is looooooong. And while he's got good numbers for a lower team, his QOC has been even lower, so he's really not been tested by an offensive powerhouse. I just can't get excited yet, but I'm certainly hoping for the best.
And if the Wings see something in him, they best sign him this year. If he goes back for his senior year, Detroit will likely lose his rights.
That's @jaster 's specialty. Not sure anyone is more skeptical of prospects than him.You can literally say that about the CHL and the U20 Swedish and junior leagues as well. The tip of the pyramid is very, very small for everyone.
