Cossa had that awful game and is still carrying a .936 save % through four playoff games.

Can a goalie be too big? I worry about his long term athleticism being that big.

Just recently off the top of my head

Bishop is 6’7
Dubnyk is 6’6
Markstrom is 6’6
Rinne was 6’5
There’s a boatload at 6’4 including Lehner, Hellebucyk, Demko, Kuemper

Some of those guys didn’t/don’t rely on athleticism as much as others, but I don’t think we are talking about a “never been done” situation

Hanas with only 2 points in 4 playoff games.

Cotton with 10 points in 5 games.

I didn’t Kienan Draper got up to 50 points. Maybe all hope is not lost.

Draft grades from organizations like this always make me laugh. There’s usually no critical thinking that goes into it, just highlighting which teams drafted players that we liked the most.

Essentially, which team agrees with our methodology for assessing players. For example, I don’t think there’s any chance that the Lions had a better draft than the Jets, and yet the Jets only ended up with an A-

Yes, but he ended up 3rd in team scoring and virtually a PPG, his season was looking a heck of a lot worse a few months back. I’m merely saying he picked it up.
That's fair. I'm assuming the guys ahead of him are well regarded prospects?

He still looks like an AHL'er at best
Have you seen him play?

I mean, I get the knocks against him.... 7th rounder, possible nepotism pick, playing in a lower league, not putting up big numbers for his age/league, etc. But he is improving, and he is about to play 3+ years in the NCAA where he will have a ton of opportunity for further development.

The odds are still that he will amount to nothing, but if he plays 3 years at Michigan and takes further development steps, it's entirely possible he gets a contract, goes to GR for his age-23 season and maybe knocks on the door.

He doesn't excite me, but as a Michigan fan I do look forward to following his college career.
