For sure Zhugin if a decent plan B should the draft not work out. My point was that those assets are best used as a basis for the rebuild. Mancini and Zhugin do nothing to support that and are an opportunity cost to asset management.

Yep. I've been rooting for him to find that extra gear and the mean streak but you have to do it properly. A 6'6 220lb guy who plays the right way can be a huge asset... but...
Good coaching would help wonders..

Yeah umm, that penalty shot attempt by Greentree went in underneath the bar and out. Clearly saw it on the replay with the announcers agreeing it was in. The ref called no goal, and they didn't even do a video review on it. League is a joke.

Shouldn't the bench challenge the goal? Torres busy gripping clipboard too much?

Yep, Miss was missing a handful of "core" guys, per their broadcast. It likely played a factor but, as we've heard many times, you have to keep going. Credit to Windsor for not taking them lightly as they've done with teams in the past. 5-3 Windsor final in a solid effort.

BTW, Cristoforo with a season-high three assists and was a plus-1.

Positive commentary not allowed on this forum u know better lol.
Christoforo since the coaching change 10 games played missed 1 game, has 1G,9A,10 Pts ,+1,should mention in London game was -3,other 9 games +4
Should mention in his last 6 games he is -1,and that's including the -3 vs London, also has 1G,7A,8pts ,I will take that any day of the week.
Criticism of him lately is unwarranted imo.

Cristoforo is young and still learning. He's going to make mistakes because that's what happens in junior hockey. His offence is growing (though, I think they lean on him too much) and his defence has clearly improved since the coaching change. There's a lot of possibility here and I'm intrigued by what could happen. I get it; people are going to hate him for one reason or another just because they can. If he can continue this pace, though, he's going to be drafted. If not, I'm sure he'll hear about it...

Guy wasn’t invited to the CHL Prospects game for good reason. Could get an invite though injury but it speaks volumes that NHL personal who select the rosters left him off completely. Ya’know the guys who’s opinion actually counts when it comes to the draft.

Agree with what you have written, Spits with the win are now 7-4 since the coaching change, which I like, but more impressive they are 5-2 on the road since the change, at home 2-2 since the coaching change.
