Windsor Spitfires 2023-24 Off-Season Thread

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Only change in the line tonight for Windsor is Davis in,Hjelholt is out.
Donoso gets the start in goal.
Hjelholt played last night for Stratford but got tossed for a fight just past the midway part of their game.
Spits going with 11F,6D as Toms moves back to D.

If the doc says no, the team and player shouldn't have a choice to go against that wish. Protocols are in place for a reason. Had that "discussion" many a time.
But yeah occasionally players, parents or teams want to go against advice n protocols.

Hasn't been any messages for over a decade..
 
If they don't get physical, they're soft. If they get physical and anything is called (right or wrong), they're taking bad penalties and should know better. If they get involved, people scream "you ain't gonna do anything" (to the Spitfires' player(s)). There's no winning here.

Let's hope for a competitive game tonight with no injuries. I didn't hear it, but apparently Torres said on the pre-game that Toure's out for the season? That's a brutal way to end your OHL career.
