Looking at the future...

2025 - Extras in 2/15, missing 4/10/12
2026 - Extras 3/4/11, missing 5
2027 - Extras 2/4, missing 3/5

I don't think you necessarily NEED to fill in the missing 5th/6th this draft since you have seven picks in the first 75. Unless you want to deal a future 4th for one? Like, 4th 2026 + 11th 2026 for 5th 2024?

WINDSOR
With all those picks and no possibility of bringing all of them in, trade multiple higher rounds to move up in a couple of rounds this year or next. Expect a ton of Spits Flyer picks this year, if one signs this year or next bonus. I think Bowler may move a couple of picks to acquire a 18-19 yr old solid D and a playmaking center. There is some urgency to build around our 06's.

Deal a 4th + something this year for a high pick next year, then (post-draft) deal a 2nd in 2025 + the newly acquired pick for a solid D. There are options and he's gotten creative before.

Absolutely. You're not going to draft 08's and expect them to lead for a couple years. We need a big time 07 and 05 to round out our 3 06's with a high end import to round out the top 6
Need a complete qualifying coaching staff that knows what they r doing too.

This is one of the reasons i say this will show what BB is made of. Your likely going to have 4 rookies that are top quality guys. You need help on the back end for sure and extra picks give you the ability to grab a couple of decent guys with experience. Which of the top 4 does he grab. Im leaning Belch. Then D heavy with the next picks including the euro pick.
Anyone notice the Leam flyers goalie was added to the draft list?
The coaching staff are the final pieces, those are MUST hit decisions.

What are everyones thoughts on taking Belchetz at 1, A Defenseman at 22 and Headrick at 24? Interesting because Headrick Centre's Belchetz line so there would obviously be some chemistry there.

I could see Windsor doing this assuming it lineups the way you propose, and even if Headrick doesn't impact this season, there is time on his side then.
Now what I would also, would have Belchetz lineup with Greentree and Abraham as the #1 line to start the season, take things from there, with Morneau and Nesbitt battling for the 2nd line to play with Spellacy and Davis.

If I remember correctly someone Spits would announce their pick on THURSDAY night. Is this a fact or just a guess? Also am I correct in saying that the trade window will only be open for the trading of draft picks at this time.

Parker reported that the club will announce the pick on Thursday. Waiting to hear officially from the team, but I'm sure that'll happen mid-week.

OHL Draft order is posted (without accounting for trades)...

Windsor has (if I did math right) - 1, 22, 24, 58, 63, 71, 75, 124, 144, 164, 184, 204, 210, 244, 264, 284

If Windsor has 22 and 24 - does that mean London's comp. pick will be at the Will Moore spot (18th pick) of the 2nd round rather than the top of the 2nd round like some thought?

Question…..Windsor has the 3rd pick in the CHL import draft if I’m correct. Are they required to move an import player from their roster should they wish to draft in that position or can they draft a player at #3 then move the player before the season?
