All Ottawa in that period and I expect Savard to say a few words. Windsor can't be outshot 15-6 (at least) and expect to muster up anything against a club this good. The D didn't help but this is a 200 foot error.

The OHL site only goes so far in depth lol

Lol haha. That's where the eye test comes in ( shout out to Teflon)

And BTW those stats are available if ya know the right people or have access to certain resources.

Strength of schedule n opponents is a stat easily accessible as well and was one I mentioned ( as I said it was posted earlier ;))

Quality chances against for those fans watching games and evaluating/comparing performances should also be easy to assess. If ya watch the games. And is tracked by teams.
Simple stats is lazy, analytics go much deeper and it's why they are tracked n used by teams. ( even if we dont have access ) My point was its not a complete picture was all.
Just simply looking at S% or records.....I can do that without ever seeing a game and it paints an incomplete picture ;)

You guys are there every home home game, watch almost every second of every game yet rely on ohl stats with no context to form a judgement?
I'll take a combo of both every day of the week

Rough first. Getting beat by a better structured team. 1st goal was a defensive breakdown with guy out front, but last two could have been stopped, also need more offensive chances, as this season gets later and later teams will gameplan us and shut us down, we have seen it against all these top teams, it's time for Savard to look in the mirror and maybe stop this run and gun full out offense Gameplan and maybe play some defense to and hell maybe even play with more bite in your game, getting Bullied out there and out coached, really driving your 1a/1b garbage talk home. Hope Onuska can stop the puck the rest of the way 2 more goals and this games all but sealed, especially if our offense cant start clicking. Gonna need a bipolar 2nd and 3rd to the first to pull out a win. I've seen crazier things in this league.

Go spits!!

67’s scored three in the last minute and a half against Oshawa earlier in the season and won in OT. So, yes. Anything can happen!

Maggio interview " it wasn't as bad as the score shows" are you kidding me?? 😳 Wake up Captain and round up the troops. Good grief, guys behind our forward moving D in front of our net with enough time to pour some tea. Horrible coverage in our zone by most of the D not just 1.

We look for the stretch pass first instead of basic zone exit and neutral zone control. Stretch passes work occasionally but not when it is every time. Leads to a ton of unnecessary icings. Last thing we need is the opposition having more time in our zone.

Who said I "rely" on just that to form an opinion? I merely stated that I'm not going by JUST w/l record and would include at least those other stats to form any comparison.

Windsor just got robbed of a goal, the replay clearly showed it wasn't offside. What in the actual Eff? How is that not reviewable, they showed the replay, the puck was on the blueline, it's literally not even close to being offside and they can't review it?

Offsides not reviewable when ref calls it on the ice. Unlike a goal then you can check for Offsides. That was a good goal. What is with Dioniccio playing center lol. Sure miss basic checking. We have some big forwards who are wimps. Miss Spellacy and Sobeys hits

Geez Dionicco is arguably our best center right now. He is amped up or maybe the team thinks playing 3D on line may help. Obviously Savard is not happy with a few.

You can’t review it because it was called offside prior to the puck entering the net. Technically it is a dead puck as soon as it crossed the line. You can’t score with a dead puck.

I think it was onside but the replay I saw was too quick. The puck was in the white for sure. Was it fully in the white? I dunno but it looked like it still had a piece of the blue. But, the reality is the officials usually call it offside a lot in that situation. So many times the puck is onside and they blow it down because the puck touches the white. The unfortunate part was it stopped a goal. But it happens probably 4-5 times per night on meaningless plays when D-Men are trying to keep the puck in.

Somewhere
Reread his post,he said some not one,and 3 out of 18 is hardly worth mentioning, and when one looks at the whole body of work road and at home,Costanzo has been outstanding, youngest goalie in top 10 according to league stats works for me.
In his last 8 road games he struggled in 4 of them. That half his road games.

Windsor played

no need to be surprised.
#rules.
Man if that was the 67's who scored on a non-reviewable play you would be sure to claim Windsor 'got 'lucky' on that play.

They should keep Dionico at center when Sobolev returns.

The second was a Bipolar version of the first. Alot more players coming back and playing a 200 foot game and Onuska just had a retro period from last playoffs, Making a few big saves. Also noticed a little bit more push back from players out there and thats also great to see. You win as a team and lose as a team play for the emblem on your jersey and not the name on the back!!, Was a good period but wished we could have popped at least 1 more in heading into this third. Need that same effort and we could potentially get back into this game, time will tell.

Go Spits!!
