Could be Kitchener has nothing to play for on Sunday and is resting players. But there's so much to be determined between now and then.
Here’s a scenario for Sunday. A Rags win gives them Windsor in Round 1. A loss gives them the the Knights. They get to run out a lineup that helps them try to decide their round 1 opponent.

As much as I'd like to say Sarnia is just that good (might be lol) that was the flattest I've seen a team play all yr let alone in their home finale.

Looked like a team who's mailed in the end of the season.

Winning these games also has a factor of having home ice in the finals should we get there. Ottawa is a lock but we could lose home ice advantage to both Barrie and North Bay depending on how it plays out. An extra game at home is big bucks for the owners who have played their cards to give us the best chance so time to pay it back. Home ice is bigger than game 7. The opportunity to pit a team down 2 games to start a series is huge.

Big night tonight for both clubs.

A Windsor Win tonight puts them 1 point away from the division with 2 games to go.
A Windsor Win tonight also forces London to win 3 in 3 this weekend for the Conference.
Only scenario with London winning out and not getting the conference is Windsor takes both games to OT.

Guelph on the other hand, Can swap 6/7 with the Rangers with a Guelph Loss and Rangers win at Erie tonight.
That would also put Guelph in position to get bumped down to 8th, as Owen Sound will be trailing by 2pts with a game in hand, while holding the tie breaker vs. Guelph.

On the contrary, A Guelph win tonight, puts them tied for 5th, with a shot to play Saginaw who has secured 4th. They would be tied with Flint (losing the Tiebreaker) but both clubs having two games remaining.
Guelph vs. Erie & Saginaw
Flint vs. Kitchener & Owen Sound
IF Guelph pulls off an upset, I could see them winning out. Although not a statistical guarantee, I think a loss for them tonight, puts a dagger in their dreams of seeing Saginaw in the first round.

Windsor is 2-1 vs. Guelph this year.
7-2 at the WFCU over the last 5.

Faist & Marley the refs tonight, Guelph looks fully staffed. Going with Gillespie in Goal with Leaver scratched.

I am just hoping we can have 3 OHL lines dressed tonight, lol nevermind the usual 4 lines. Not gonna win with two lines , if they don't get a few players back I doubt they win more than one 1 game this weekend. Injuries have derailed the season. No, it's not an excuse, missing 1 or 2 guys is one thing, but this is something else.

It's a factor, absolutely. I'd love to see a few bodies return this weekend. You're not going to get everyone back, especially Spellacy, but some relief would be appreciated.

We have a third line tonight. Spitfires are getting some guys back, Smith and Peer are playing. Dionicio is playing forward to make up the top 3 lines. Costanzo in net.

One thing to watch for in this one is special teams. In the game against Guelph a few weeks ago, Guelph had 10 PPs. Guelph spends more time on the PP than any team in the league.

Savard rarely plays a 4th line most of season anyways.

Morneau and McLlwan dressed for the 4th line.

Fingers crossed everyone stays healthy through this one.

Good to see Joey Costanzo in goal. It’s his turn in the rotation, but I wouldn’t have been surprised at this point to give Onuska a bounce back game.

Joey should have the crease either until we take first or we’re knocked out of contention for it. And then he should have rest until the playoffs where he plays until he gives a reason not to.

But savard needs to get onuska ready to start the playoffs lol

OHL website under the lines tab. Admittedly I’ve paid zero attention to the Guelph Goalie situation this season. Seems weird to rest him when the difference could be, vs. Sarnia or Vs Saginaw.
