If they end up the 3 seed and the Spits gotta go through Sarnia in round 2 with them having home ice advantage I’m sure you’ll find it a little less intriguing.
If they end up the #3 seed that would likely mean Sarnia gets the #1 seed, meaning they would not play Sarnia in the 2nd round.

So... I can't be intrigued by this coming week?
Nope.

I haven’t done the math for ALL the scenarios. I was gonna add London into the mix but I like the Spits chances against London more than the Sting. Still. You’d prefer not to face London in Round 2 either

Ther are scenarios where Sarnia could finish 1st. The only way that I see happening is Sarnia winning all 4 games with at least 3 in regulation. That scenario is very possible. Then Windsor would lose all 3 games and London loses to Kitchener. I don't see it happening, but it is possible. I see Windsor beating Guelph and London beating Kitchener. No predictions on Windsor - London.

I wouldn't count on London beating Kitchener on Sunday after playing 2 high intensity games vs Windsor on Friday and Saturday. Tough 3 in 3. The Knights have been sucking worse than Windsor the last 10 games. Wouldn't bet on Spits beating Guelph either, they're playing really well.

Could be Kitchener has nothing to play for on Sunday and is resting players. But there's so much to be determined between now and then.

10 days ago, Windsor had a 4-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the game. Guelph wasn't playing well that night.

Wondering out loud if we can expect anyone back on Wednesday? Peer, Smith, Greentree maybe? Any JRb kids that might be available? Nice if we could have 3/4 lines for this last stretch.

Under 20 seats left for Saturday so they will likely put standing room only tickets up for grabs soon.

I know lasalle plays game 4 wed. Hopefully they lose that game and we can get Davis up full time and woodall.

Looks like Vipers going down 3-0 in the series. Shouldn’t be long before spits get some reinforcements
I have never been so invested in Jr B hockey… let’s go Leamington!

I imagine A Vipers loss allows the Spits unrestricted access to Cole Davis who I think can put up points. Ethan Martin who can add some size. McManus who can add some physicality. Along with Woodall who provides depth at D letting Jodoin/Dionicio head up front. And guys like McLlwan and Stewart, can just provide some minutes.

I get that Saturday May be sold out and all. But if we clinch first place in London…

I’m sitting EVERYONE with our injury luck right now. Screw the crowd for game 68, I’m putting Wright, Harrison, Peer, Sobolev and Dionicio on the bench. Not the time to let old injuries flare up. I’m putting Roddy on the bench just because of his importance and ability to fill a D or Offensive role.

I let Maggio skate to up his point total, if he wants. Christopolous & DeAngelis hit their 68/68. Id even put Michelone in.

Very true. If everything is settled before Saturday. Both teams will probably sit most stars. Crowd should be anticipating this.

Ya I was thinking something similar. Nice to have big crowd but maybe the game means nothing but knowing the Spits history of making it hard on themselves, it will mean something. LOL.
Fyi they just released about 30 seats in 101.
Edit - I just looked again and there is only 5 seats left. Just can't keep up ! I must be getting old.

It's like this every season, too. I remember several seasons ago, the Spitfires went on a trip to Kitch/OS around this time of season. They sat four or five guys per game. Fans weren't thrilled but you can't risk it.

I've been following the tickets for a few days and it's been dropping like a rock, which is great to see. Hopefully they can get 5,000+ on Wednesday, too.

Sales definitely not as strong for the Wednesday game but if they sell out Saturday people may decide to come to that one instead. Who knows?

I assume Peer will be back, they made it sound like there was a good chance he was going to play Saturday in the SOO, but he obviously didn't play. Greentree, as you know, had stitches but Wednesday will be 11 days since the injury, I think there is a decent chance he can play with a full cage on Wednesday, although I'm just guessing.

Does anyone know once LaSalle is eliminated if someone like Cole Davis will be limited to nine games or can he play as many as needed?

I believe there will be no restriction

If La Salle's season ends Wednesday you will probably see available, forwards Cole Davis,Wylie Birkett, Ethan Martin, Nick Grenario, Patrick McManus though I could see him playing Wednesday for Windsor, with Stewart and Birkett coming out because of the 9 game limit.
Dmen Carson Woodall and possibly Owen Finley(18) son of former Spit Tim Tim Finley.
As well goal Ian Michelone would be available, wont be surprised if Spits sign sign 16 year goalie Carter Froggett as well, especially if London Nationals lose their next game,he is their 3rd goalie and I fully expect him to be here next year in tandem with Costanzo.
London dmen, 17 year old Tanner Winegard-6'6"-230 could be looked at by Windsor as well London get eliminated, and finally 16 year old forward Jack Dean could be signed as well, though I get the feeling that will happen during off season but with all the uncertainty regarding return of injured players who knows.
Should mention McLlwain and Stewart wont be available till their B teams are done especially Stewart.

WINDSOR
Saturdays game will mean something. When have the Spits made things easy lol. Conference title will be on the line and winning just maybe avoids the Sting in the second round. Not afraid to play anyone, just better chance we have a relatively healthy squad by the third round I'm not mailing in the first 2 rounds. With a depleted lineup, overplaying who we have available now, mixed with our defensive woes and Onuska and I for one is nervous against every team. Throw in meeting a hot goalie and now I'm treading water longer than I would like.
