Total BS. Kids need consistency from coaches or why follow their instructions when they are wishy washy. Sick and tired of " we owe him that " attitude. Ice should always be earned by performance.
Just this generation of hockey..

Savard is challenging his team. He saw a great defensive performance in front of Costanzo now he's telling them do it in front of Onuska. It's actually extremely smart.

Smart if they win. Stupid if it costs them the conference and potential home ice vs. London.

If Game 7 of the OHL Finals is in Windsor last year, we’re the reigning OHL Champions.

Home Ice Matters.

Savard said the Onuska and Costanzo are battling to see who gets the game 1 playoff start, it's still not clear to him? LOL.
So if Onuska gives up a goal tonight it’s settled right?

Watching the Soo pregame and even their broadcast team is surprised they’re going with Onuska.

And he proceeds to allow a goal on the first shot he faces, garbage goal that any goalie should be able to save.

At least the second goal was a nice shot…

Doesn’t feel like a smart move being down 2-0 6 minutes in with 7 OHL Forwards in the lineup.

Well, that we will never know. It may have ended sooner in Hammys favour. ( thou I agree with your premise Windsor woulda preferred home ice)
If I recall both teams won on the road.

Both LK n the WS have staffs are setting their teams up for what they hope is a long PO run. They have more info than us, but yes some of the decisions from the outside seem confusing and not just isolated to Windsor. Coaches Goin to coach.

I truly think WS goalie will be fine. The one who should carry the rock come POs will

Correct the non effectiveness of the defense should help things also

2-1 SSM after one. The D settled in after the two goals. The Hounds' forwards have been relentless and props for that. Windsor's offence has been the issue so far. Too many blind and/or out-of-sync passes. If they had been clicking like normal, they'd have 2-3 or even 4 by now.

U can't predict that.

I know it's a SSM player but any feedback on F D'Intinos game would be appreciated.

Just some bad luck tonight as well, SOO score off a bounce off the linesman on a puck that was going to be a SOO icing. Not sure I've seen that before.

Bad break on the 4th goal, but Onuska has been caught out of position so many times halfway through this game.

I feel bad for the kid, but this ain’t it.

4-1 SSM. This is just odd... strange bounces, out of sync offence, Onuska looks uncomfortable. This is one of those "when it's just not your night" games.
Doesn't help when your goalie allows a goal on the first shot that a 10 year old would be able to save. Savard is still deciding who is playoff starter is though, what a joke lmao.
