It is proven because they suspended him.
You noticed I said unproven by video,I was told at rink that league official at rink could not tell by video, so they go by refs report,in this day and age video proof is the standard, that being said from where I sat across from the call I was surprised at the call, saw no definitive slewfoot.
Will admit if caught by video no discussion required but not the case.

My .02. C starts tonight and if he wants to goes again in London. Lets see what the kid has. Hes not been used like this before so it time. Might be this exact scenario in the playoffs. We need to know. Now lets hope the guys play significantly better in our zone to help him out!! I see the petty BS isnt going to stop, kinda turns a good forum into a circus guys!!!

I'd rather go with Costanzo twice and realize that was the wrong call than go with Michelone either tonight or tomorrow and realize that was the wrong choice.

I put the decision on Costanzo and how he feels. But whatever, we have no say. Time will tell. I expect Saginaw to come out hot to try and prove they still belong at the top.

Just as a comparison to work load. Dipietro as a 17 yr old regular season played 2 games in 2 days 8 times. Even played a rare 3 games in 3 days Feb 02,03,04 2017 . So, it is not that uncommon as we sometimes make it out to be when you have a great goalie. Onuska had little experience coming in last season and played a ton in the 2nd half and 22 playoff games even with a nagging injury. I have no problem with JC playing both games.

Yea I hope they go with Costanzo in all three games this week as well But my gut is saying Michelone is starting tonight. Savard and staff will be Saving Joey till tomorrows showdown with the Knights especially since there not playing today and will be rested and waiting. But i really hope I'm wrong. Im Happy there's alot of away games and long bus trips coming up on the schedule tho as the boys can hopefully Bond more and hopefully string some W's together here going into the playoffs. I am Also hoping Savard can stick with line combos going down the stretch and doesn't keep flip flopping players for the rest of the season. These lines need to to build chemistry, 1 bad period or game shouldn't mean shuffling everything around. But I really do hope we can do a 3 for 3 weekend. This team needs the Win's and needs to finish #1 in the west, it's a very strong conference this year.

But as for this game tonight I'm hoping to see even more chemistry being built between linemates and also good team Defense. We all know we can score goals with any team in the in this league, need all players to play a 200 foot game. Play Smart and hard every shift. Excited to watch the game let's hope for a great showing from all departments.

Cheers!!🍻👍

I think if they are going to split the games, they go Joey tonight. It’s more important to win the division for playoffs. The worst you would be seeded is 2nd and only in conference finals would you face London. I think you worry about division first, therefore tonight seems more important.

Guelph, Owen Sound, or Kitchener puts the Knights out before we need to worry about it anyway. Lots of pretty good players on that team and not many great ones from what I see. Maybe they prove me wrong sunday, we'll see.

Joey starting in net tonight
Not surprised, considering he is 2-0 against them in the last 2 games and allowing only 6 goals total in those games.
Also noticed Spits did not call up anyone to replace Smith,so they will go with 17 skaters and 2 goalies tonight.
Abraham remains out for 17th straight game with his injury.
Meant to print,Spits and Spirit meeting for the 6th time this season of 8 meetings,Spits are 3-1-1 in the 1st 5 games,1-1 in Saginaw and 2-0-1 at home.

It was reviewed and I was told video showed nothing definite so the call on the ice stood, was reviewed again by league off ice official still couldn't find definite slew foot.
Will let you remain your usual rigid self.
My view no suspension especially in this day and age, years ago I get it,now no,especially no injury on the play even more compelling.

As of Thurs night, it was leaning towards official's discretion due to poor camera angles. Without anyone having a clear replay, the "he shouldn't have done it" angle isn't realistic. We all know that officials make mistakes. Show me proof or let's move on.
