Honestly, great to see the line shuffling too.

Maillet, Maggio worked, adding Harrison I think will help.

Meidema I think could mesh with Christo/Peer, has a bit more zip than Colton Smith. I think Greentree may be able to fit on the line well too.

Smith dropping to the 4th doesn’t surprise me, but honestly him linked up with Spellacy & Jodoin could be a real tough line to play against.

Castle/Morneau/Greentree doesn’t excite me on paper, but I like all three individually so we’ll see.

Very true, but I didn’t hop on the Spits fandom because of any pieces they added. Moreso, closer proximity to me than Flint and well… you remember what was going on in Flint.

And it looks like OA spot just opened up…
I don’t know…..those were some pretty nice pieces they added that year. I dug that roster. I almost switched too. 😁

I hopped in November. That was a quality club though… Then they added Chatham, who I was always unimpressed with - I could never escape watching him skate 😂

I don’t expect Dionicio to always be this productive, but I‘m seeing glimpses of him I really like already.

WINDSOR
Good win after falling behind. Solid JC again. Team seemed to start rolling mid-way 2nd period and kept it up. 2 big points for the new guys feeling a hell of a lot better than Friday's debacle. Next 2 days will settle the rosters for every team. Onuska late scratch suspect for debate. Possibly that goaltending illness known as H.F. "hurt feelings " we'll know shortly one way or the other. Go Spits!!

WINDSOR
Seattle will be tough with 5 Canadian WJC players now. Kamloops hot on Zellweger. Rumor is like 4-1st round picks plus 2 players plus additional picks. Yikes!! I never knew the WHL could trade 1st round picks.

Two current players
Two prospects
4 firsts
1 second
1 third
1 fourth
1 fifth
1 sixth

That is crazy 🤪 no single player in history would make me send all that for 1 player who could be disinterested or injured as a likely rental for 30 games plus playoffs. No way IMO. The lost of 4 1st rounders alone would lead to a 5-6 year drought.

The only player I'd even consider it for is Bedard and even then it's "I gotta think about this one..."

They could get back 4-1st round picks next season. It’s just a different pick value in the W & Q than the O.
There is a pretty good chance Beck returns for the Petes, and traded for near equal value paid to acquire him.
One year after going ‘all-in’ Hamilton has ‘04, ‘05, 2-‘06 1st picks, and full compliment of future picks

Solid win after Friday's loss. Dionicio was outstanding, I believe he was the best player on that ice today. I can now see why Bowler was so eager to acquire him. Several great outlet passes and he will help the power play. Solid depth, scoring 6 goals without any points from Maggio and Harrison.

One player who continues to stand out is Greentree. He's on pace for about 22 goals, similar to Cuylle's goal total in his rookie year. Wyatt Johnston averaged 0.56 points-per-game in his rookie year, Greentree is averaging 0.54 points-per-game.

I know next season could be a sell year, but they should be full of assets again right around the time Christoforo, Greentree, Spellacy are in their 19 year-old seasons. Wouldn't be surprised to see Greentree being a 1st/2nd round NHL pick. Looks like it could end up being an incredible draft class. This is why I am glad they didn't go the route Sarnia did, their fans will have nothing to watch for the next few seasons.

Nice bounce back game for Windsor, especially scoring 6 goals vs Flint and zero points from Maggio,Harrison and Maillet.
3 goals from the D,Renwick,Christoforo and Dionicio who also added an assist, strong games from Peer,Miedema, Smith,Greentree,Morneau who all had 2 points each.
Solid effort again from Costanzo, 6th win a row,has allowed only 15 goals in last 6 starts a 2.50 average very impressive.
Spits rolled 4 lines today and they all played well.
Better game from everyone who played in the Sarnia debacle the other night
Spits now 11-3 in their last 14 games, and all the new players starting to look more comfortable.
Meant to mention rookie forward
Liam Greentree now 16 points,9G,7A, in his last 16 games played, and another rookie forward AJ Spellacy has 4 points 2G,2A in his last 4 games,
