We seem to forget that players are humans and that actual real life is involved. If that makes me soft or woke, then... oh well.

I was just saying earlier today that I'm glad Windsor got their stuff out of the way this week. It lets us kind of sit back and watch the madness unfold.
didnt get that hard grit defensive they still need...

Shane Wright at the Leafs game. Decision must still be pending. If Ottawa was in contention you'd think Wright would be at the Sens/Kraken game.

Sting get Del Bel Belluz and Del Mastro for Martone, MacDonnell, and a bunch of picks... in separate deals.
Yikes. They just moved their last two first round picks, for a pair of guys that are highly likely off to the AHL next year. Poor Sarnia is in for a rough ride after this season. I guess utilize Gaudreau while you have him.

Im going to leave this just cause im growing very tired of the BS!!! This is a fan site. Some have a ton of knowledge from experience, some think they have a ton of knowledge because they watch or played or know a guy. Some are just passionate fans, some are casual fans. Some even come just to stir the pot.
Understand this, none of us have intimate daily knowledge of the teams inner workings!!
Some of us get bits here and there, take that for what you want.
The constant bickering, yapping, i know more than you BS needs to stop!! Everything i post is opinion unless i specify different, my assumption is that goes for everyone! Is there any chance some of us can grow thicker skins? Stop taking pot shots? Ignore comments you dont like or RESPECTFULLY argue your point??? Getting personal or quoting nonsense shows your not sure of your argument! Theres quite a few knowledgeable hockey people in our area maybe if this site is treated as an asset to learn we may gain a better understanding of the team and the game!!!
Here Here! Teflon
I would suggest that most if not all are tired of the bickering. Argue your points respectfully and disregard the obvious taunts. We are all adults ( I assume), so lets get some thicker skin and move on from all the BS.

Miedema played on the top line and picked up 2 assists on Wednesday, can see why he was there again last night.
Maybe the fact that Maggio and Harrison have played together, and Miedema and Harrison are billet mates now,who knows, think I would put Harrison,Miedema together with Abraham when he is ready hopefully soon as this week, while Maggio stays with Greentree and Maillet.
As for Onuska, why not bring up Michelone from La Salle, have him here till near the playoffs and perhaps Onuska could be rehabbed, though it appears the summer of healing and rehab didn't work.
Michelone is playing great in La Salle since arriving there 2.36 average,929 save per centage, 10-2-1,he has 10 games of OHL experience which is 5 more then Onuska when he arrived here last year.
Would save from going out and getting a tender.
It might be worth a call up to see how well he adapts to the faster speed of the game up here.......cant hurt.

They are straight up built though and I can assure you a LOT of Sting fans will have no problem suffering through 3-4 years if you give them a Memorial Cup appearance this year. If Gaudreau comes back and plays up to his capabilities it’s over in the West.

The difference between Sarnia and Windsor being all-in is this: Sarnia has traded their version of Miedema and Christoforo, Abraham, and depleted their draft picks. Windsor depleted their draft picks but kept their best young players.

Also, 3 of the 4 players Windsor acquired will be back next year, for Sarnia maybe one of them is back. Basically next year Windsor will be able to recoup all assets traded while Sarnia won't . Sarnia will be at 15 win team next year lol.
You could also say the difference between the Spits and Sting being all-in is the Sting have added four impact players to give themselves their best chance to win while the Spits added offence.

The thing that’s brutal is what if they don’t? They’ve had so many years with such little success, despite having a lot of talent they could’ve and have attempted to build around.

That’s the way the game is played now. They had built around some talent. Voit, Burke, Vilmsnis, Limpar-Lantz, Mast, Gaudreau. Hoping Martone and MacDonnel develop and can get the job done is a gamble too. Remember the year you decided to be a Spits fan? How many pieces did Windsor add to get knocked out in the first round? That’s the risk. Sometimes things work out and the Memorial Cup is in your house though. Many teams are just one unlucky injury away from it all slipping away.

Martone and McDonnell were traded yesterday. But yes, always a risk of being a short run even when adding. Sometimes it is more to show the fans we are all in it to win it. The fans love it but will complain during the lean years. That's the nature of this league. Build, add, and then rebuild.

So I hope London does get Shane Wright. Makes it more fun to beat them.

I still think Sarnia will have the better overall team but they need to do something with it

West is going to be real tough. on any given night any team can and will win.

Spits in tough to repeat but they have the experience. Nail biters the rest of the year.🤪🏒
According to Ken Campbell and hockey news and put on London board ,not confirmed, Wright to London tomorrow for dman Oliver Bonk and 6 draft picks

Go Spits Go!!!
Game day
Windsor vs Flint
Expecting Savard starts Costanzo today
though he has surprised/disappointed before.
Hope Spits forget and overcome last game's debacle at Sarnia
Spits are 10-3 in their last 13
and more impressively are 13-3-2-1
at home.
Might have to make decisions surrounding Onuska, last 3 starts pulled twice, allowing 15 goals on 81 shots, ave each game 7.50,3.86,10.29,save percentage for those 3 games .819.
As well here's hoping the 4 newcomers, Holmes,Harrison, Dionicio and Castle are more settled in.

london usually gets what they want most times...
at least this time it cost them a bit.
wasnt just given to them as in the past.
Not really sure London "wanted " Wright as much as Wright wanted to go to London but we will never know for sure

Last time Windsor lost 7-1 was to Guelph last year and they turned around their season after that. Looking for a much improved game today.

Go Spits Go!!!

They do have a track record and NHL clubs and kids want players to go there so that always helps
For sure. He a had no trade clause so he did have a big part of the decision. What's Barrie do now? Who's left. That is likely why teams pulled their trades earlier instead if thinking they had a realistic chance of landing him
