This confuses me a bit. The team is two points out of 1st and fans want them to trade the hometown player who leads the league in goals? Doesn't make any sense to me. That would be a sure path to angering fan base that is starting to see an increase in attendance. It's just not gonna happen.Funny thing is l mentioned this awhile back and took flack for it. I'm ok if they stay but this is not the year to sell youngin's for maybe an extra round.
They also have an 8 point cushion from the 4th seed team. I could see if the team was in the bottom half of the conference standings, but they're not. Adding a solid d-man will improve the team greatly like Perrot did last season.
