I don‘t know much about the kids drafted in the 8th and 9th rounds.

Marcus Lagana played few games this season because of injury. Don’t have anything to say past that.

Mickael Tissier had 24 points in 36 games in the GTHL.

Thanks for doing this
Spits with their 14 rd pick selected LW Julian Gignac who happens to be 1st cousin of Spits forward Noah Morneau
Scrappy kid, nice size ,and growing 6'
46 games 13G,22A,86 Pims.

I didn't know his name but knew Noah's cousin was involved. Glad they got him.
Why? Isn't Morneau the guy who got suspended for flipping the puck out of play during a stoppage after we already had a guy suspended 2 games for doing the exact same thing? And didn't he do this when he was already playing up the lineup and being relied on because of the Abraham injury? Yeah, lets get excited about plucking talent from that family tree, they got their shit together. How about instead we draft the cousin of a player who didn't help sabotage our post season with selfish stupidity.

Think you are being harsh re Morneau, the flip one second after the buzzer wasn't intentionally cleared out,had he fired it out I dont blame rule, it's a dumb rule, heck American League not even a penalty, again if a player intentionally fires it out I get it,Morneau victim of accident not intent.
And for clarity my attitude is the same if the other team did it dumb rule imo.

It's the same for everyone.
U can say dumb.
However wasn't smart by player for doing the act either...

Accidental flip has nothing to do with smarts or intentional like I said happened split second after buzzer dumb rule ,think what you want, not even a penalty in the pros,at minimum for playoffs should be available to buy back suspension again applies to all teams not just Windsor.
In all my years never saw this happen before.

If it was and I hope you are right I certainly will apologize.

So the league should just ignore whatever Windsor does as it doesn't apply to them.
I get it.

No applies to all teams not just Windsor, like I said a dumb rule and I doubt any player disagrees,it's a dumb rule period.
You disagree I don't care
I could say the earth is round and u would disagree that's who you are, always something to argue about.

he can't ignore everyone...nobody would read his posts
I have nobody on ignore will probably change that this weekend,2 from London,2 from Windsor, that's telling in itself and 1 other, everyone else respectful both ways, willing to exchange ideas, acknowledge positions, ask and give info willingly

It’s a penalty for a reason and it makes sense. As for as Morneau goes, you can’t high stick a guy in the eye and say “oh it wasn’t intentional” or right at the buzzer. I wouldn’t think it was intentional, probably just unlucky and maybe a little bit of a bad decision. I’ve seen MUCH worse decisions out of OHL kids. I sure wouldn’t act like his whole family is toxic or that the Spits would have won that series “if only Morneau wasn’t suspended.” Y’know?

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, but I'm still processing the spectacular face plant and there's no question Morneau played a part in it with that silly move. Sure it's a dumb rule, but after getting dinged once already there's no excuse for a second suspension. He can own his part in what happened. He's not the reason Maggio went from +41 in the regular season to -9 in four playoff games, or why Maillet went from +37 to -9 but he is the reason we had to rely on guys like Patrick McManus instead of being the 4 line team we should have been.

Ya might not have seen it which is odd with how closely you follow the Spits and the league, but a quick fact check will show the league has applied the rule alot and the Windsor players got off lighter than others in some circumstances.
You don't "accidentally flip" a puck, just before or just after a whistle lol. I' coupd explain how the bodies nervous system works with autonomic, central n peripheral......but I know you will still say accident. Head tells hands n arms to flip puck. It's not like blinking or your heart beating lol.

I am not judging the players intent but rather the physical action. Science says it wasn't an accident as you defend. Argue the rule sure.....but is what all teams play with. And just cause it is or isn't an issue/rule/concern in the pros doesn't absolve the Spits player from having made a poor decision in the heat of a moment, when frustrated. I get that part but it hurt the team

So who did they get to fill out the draft? This bickering needs some moderator actions. Its gone on long enough to make this strand near unbearable !
One common denominator.

Swing and a miss. I legit wanted to know why you were excited about the Morneau connection. If he were related to Wyatt Johnston or Ryan Ellis or something I would understand but Morneau? It's tough to not be a little bit sour about him because the scab hasn't fallen off yet from what happened. That's not me doing satire, that's me being a human being with feelings who was disappointed when his team let him down in spectacular fashion. Not everybody can eat that mess with a smile and move on so quickly. If anything your excitement about drafting Morneau's cousin sounds like satire to me. "Good news everybody, we got another guy who might be able to let us down in embarrassing fashion some day in the future!"

Morneau is one of the hardest working kids on the club; a 15th round pick who made the team through determination and grit. He'd be the first person to throw his body in front of a puck or go into the crease for a dirty goal. Yep, he made a dumb mistake, but if we're going to have that overshadow the rest of the season... yeah, that's not on him.

One common denominator.

Honestly, there isn't "one."

Dumb mistake for sure but didn't cost the series. Our big guns had their silencers installed before the series began. If we needed to rely on our 15th round pick to carry the team we were on trouble more than we thought. Cousin to Morneau doesn't bring any positives for that fact by itself. Many related players turn to be great or complete flops but were on the draft radar because of a relationship to a known player.
