Team looks like they are chasing the play 2 steps behind in the neutral zone standing still. Sure defense coverage is bad but some help by some forwards coming back be nice. Maggio-3 Holmes both needs to take charge. Morneau absolutely stupid play. Likely will get more than Dionicio based on the way he did it and the team not learning from the very last game. Need some of that Hunter discipline though it hurts to say that but it is reality. Fan feel like a exhibition game mirroring the teams overall lack of grit . That being said we have the offense to squeak out a ugly win in the 3rd. Play all year for home ice show them it means something. GO SPITS!@

Spits get the result they deserve. Don't get me wrong I want them to turn it around this Saturday with a win. I want them to succeed throughout the playoffs.....with that said I had a really bad feeling in my stomach watching tonight's game. Spits not that physical, over passing, not passing into the slot....and way too much time in their own end. Lack luster effort from many. Wright looked great, tried hard all game. The toughness we had last season is greatly missed. Gotta find that extra gear....gotta play with more urgency. I gotta add this also.... Morneau!!! You literally saw what happened with Roddy last week with your own eyes!! 2 game suspension....Yet tonight at the end of the 1st you stupidly do the same thing ...over the glass....over the net....wtf? You sir are the donkey of the night!!

I said to my group before the game I wouldn't be surprised if they lost, and here we are.

That was the worst game they have played on home ice since post covid. Brutal in every aspect. I've seen Jr. B teams that can pass better than that. It legit looked like these guys were playing with each other for the time time all season.

Missing DeAngelis and Dionicio was very evident. Jodoin was a bit of a liability and has trouble holding the blue line in the offensive zone. The power play was horrible without its QB Dionicio. Kitchener had 5 2 on 1's and 2 breakaways when shorthanded. I love Cristo and he's going to be a star d-man, but he's not ready to be the PP QB. Wright was the only player who actually played a strong game.

Credit to Kitcher, they literally played a perfect game. No giveaways, no mistakes, took advantage of scoring opportunities. Again, the Spitifres reward for finishing the #1 seed is a team with 6 drafted players. They have more drafted players than the #6 and #7 seed combined, lol.

Look, the Spitfires aren't going to be that bad again in this series. And you know what, Kitcher finished as the #8 seed for a reason... consistency, they played a perfect game, but it would be tough to emulate that every game in the series.

I haven't seen Savard look so visibly rattled in a post game interview He 'guaranteed' they will be a lot better. Harrison said 100% they will be much better. It's just one game, nothing to get to high or low about. Saturday you'll be playing in front of a full building. Score early and keep it going.

Extremely arrogant performance. Leadership thought this was going to be a walkover. All the same issues came up again. Shorthanded opportunities on a PP , giving up SHG , overpassing , not starting on time. The ironic part is people talked last year how they were gassed going to 6 against Sarnia, 7 against Flint and how they ran out of gas. Try and enjoy the series and hopefully a series win but this group isn't winning 16 OHL playoff games.

He's the obvious choice but is playing injured. If DeAngelis and Dionicio were playing, Renwick probably would have sat this one out. The d -core is really decimated with injury/suspension right now.

lol, giving up after one game with the team missing 2 of its top 4 d-man? Sure you of all people should know one game doesn't mean it's over. C'mon now.

I wouldn't put too much on 1 game myself, but according to most here the better team won tonight.

Very disappointing! Not at all ready to play. I could list the issues but im not writing a book tonight lol. To be fair a minimum of 3 posts didnt help and zero puck luck. Ill give them this one. Sat becomes a huge game now tho. Lets see how they respond.
Morneau…incredibly inexcusable and even if the OHL gives him 2 he’d get more if i was in charge. Prolly a good thing im not…
