You're not going to fire Savard; he's done wonders for this organization. Yes, this series has been horrible and frustrating to watch but that's not Savard, it's the players... AND the Rangers. Credit given where it's due. They've been insanely good.
Maybe he can learn some defence to go with his offence. All offence wins you almost nothing.

Someone needs to take the hit. You’re the 1st #1 seed in history to be swept. We have no draft picks , emptiest cupboard in the league. Next few seasons will be ugly. Couldn’t even win a game, these guys are a pathetic embarrassment.

I liked the offensive style of Savard but being the first 1st seed to be swept in the OHL, yeah, unfortunately might be time to move on.

Lots of questionable calls, from goaltending to lines, to continuing this stupid frickin drop pass which keeps failing on the PP.

Bowler assembled the pieces. Which on paper, could win an OHL Championship. I hang onto him and see how he picks up the pieces.

Cupboards are bare, 05’s are gone, 06’s are strong, and we have nothing but a first rounder in 07.
In for a few rough years unfortunately.

Kitcheners had a great series. They’ve out coached Windsor. They’ve made less mistakes than Windsor. They’ve played more physical than Windsor. They’ve scored more goals than Windsor.
Pinellis hit on Peer was still dirty, but no respect lost to the Rangers organization.

Best of luck to Kitchener in the rest of the playoffs. Should be a fun series to watch in Round 2. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Kitchener upset London as well. Good luck to those guys along the way. At our expense, but good for the Rangers to finally put it all together for playoffs.

So you want to fire the guy who got the club to the OHL Championship less than a season ago? There are changes to be made but he's not it.

Yep, I'm disappointed. Yep, this sucks. Yep, I really didn't expect any of it. However, this feels like a "step back, breathe, and then figure it out" moment. At least for me...

Realizing this is likely the first of 3 seasons we don’t get out of the first round…

This isn’t Jr. B. Ownership was counting on a long playoff run, bringing in some playoff revenue. They are likely irate at this embarrassing sweep and will be demanding changes.

Also think about the lost potential of adding new season ticket holders , etc.
First #1 seed in history to be swept, let that sink in. The embarrassment of the CHL.

By not saying "FIRE SAVARD!!!"? Okay.

I'm incredibly disappointed right now. This is hard to watch and it feels like a giant letdown. Frustrated. Upset. The works. I'm just not going to jump into "do this, this, and this!!" right away. That's emotion based and doesn't really work.
Good u agree with me..

Of course a 2 on 0 breakaway to put the finishing touches on the season. Savard and his pond hockey is an embarrassment .

Must be a lot of Windsor fans in Kitchener.

Well, I’m just reading through your thread. I can sure understand how you guys must feel. I thought I would throw this in. I’ve been reading that this would be the first time an eighth place team beat the first place team, however, I would suggest this is also likely first time an eighth seed was this talented despite having given it their best to redefine the term underachieving during most of the season. Bitterly disappointing absolutely. An embarrassment? No I don’t think so. By the way, these announcers are clowns.

Last year it was ditch Medina and go with Onuska. Now ditch Onuska and go with Costanza. I think Onuska stood on his head in game 3 and did well. Defense has to get in there and break up play too. Not all on goalie. I do like Costsnza but Onuska has playoff experience for us last year and I think that counts for something. Close call. I’m rooting for him. He’s a good young man.
Onuska is trash. Was last season and is this season. There was no last year ditch Medina. That's are pathetic delusional coach. some former players should not be a coach and he is one of them. Also Bowler is getting paid to do nothing. Lack luster management. Everyone in the world could see our teams flaws and weaknesses all season but this guy couldn't? Should have made no moves rather them go full offense and not trade for a goalie?, trade part of our future away but didnt upgrade our teams weaknesses, Pathetic, no professionals running this team, just a bunch of people with there heads to big going with their personal agenda. Onuska isnt a OHL goalie. His GAA And save percentage isnt even acceptable for a bottom dwelling team in this league. Pathetic management. Someone needs to be accountable.

What a season.

It’ll go down as one of the most disappointing playoff runs in CHL history. Simply put, it’s EMBARRASSING, and the coaches, management, ownership and leadership group should have a permanent stain from this series going forward.

This team will be a case study for every other CHL franchise, and it’s a reminder that the regular season means nothing, you can score your way out of trouble in the regular season, but come playoff time when the games matter; the Saying “defence wins championships” is said for a reason. “Highest scoring CHL team” all that title really did was developed real bad habits, the whole core is guilty of it this year.

Hats off to Kitchener though, they came through when it mattered. They were the more prepared, better team in this series.

Sorry but windsor looks unprepared for what kitchener is giving them. That unfortunately is on the coaching staff. They seem like they were not prepared.

Or the players didn't buy in or want to pay the price.
Hard to know from the outside.

Couldn’t agree more. Takes more then a great offence to win championships.
