Yeah, and being as good as the Columbus Blue Jackets is working out well.Bleeding assets into a garbage ass team for a possibly cooked goalie is the dumbest idea ever, this isn't f***ing NHL 24

The Devils skaters are being wildly outplayed tonight. Are we watching the same game?
Play wise, yes. Potential wise, absolutely not. In Jack's first year I could easily see his vision of the ice was absolutely insane and he was a play in front of everyone. I don't think Luke has that same ability but he obviously has potential to be a good #2 Dman.Luke looks better than how Jack looked at his age/in his first year in the league.
Luke needs a night or two in the press box. His offense does not make up for how bad he is in the d-zone.
And a coaching change
One that isn't GREEN
or Dineen
Sam I am.
I'll be pretty disappointed if they aren't booed off the ice.Boo them off the ice
Evidently not. They've directly given away at least three goals tonight that aren't on the goalie. More than that, this team just does not win the possession game and their rush chances are few and fewer in between. I mean, how many grade A chances have they had on whoever the goalie is they have in net?Are we watching the same game?

I do agree that we look completely confused out there and like we can’t get out of our own way. It’s not just youth for sure. And our confidence is gone too. You can see it even in Jack Hughes tonight.Completely disagree.
You can’t say the defense is so young and then think a coach running an incredibly complicated system that asks for non-traditional reads is helping them.
You could argue that’s possibly the worst thing to do.
That's the Lindy Ruff system that has made him succesfully miss the playoffs 11 of the last 18 years!Look at the 4 minute mark, jack gets the puck at the blue line and both devils d pinches down leaving him all alone last man back. The system is broken
Luke is a D-man, they develop later and it's his first year in the league. His skating and offensive vision/ability are absolutely on par.Play wise, yes. Potential wise, absolutely not. In Jack's first year I could easily see his vision of the ice was absolutely insane and he was a play in front of everyone. Reduced to hoping the Flyers or washed Capital lose games to sneak into a wildcard spot

It is amazing that the Devils get a good PP and then teams stop getting called for anything.Good to see the oilers being perfect again. No need to call a penalty on them all game
