beautiful assist tonight to set up the game winning goal.

10 points in 10 games I think.

looked a bit more engaged without the puck too.

really ?
no shots on goal, 0 xgs, 0% faceoffs (3) , no hits, 1 giveaay , 0 takeaways, on ice xg 0.2 , xg against 0.93 ......... and on my end he failed the eye test REALLY badly

im not sure what you saw but i was far from impressed. ill include kerfoot as those 2 probably being the 2 worse toronto forwards today.

Trade Nylander, im tired of his diva attitude. Kessel 2.0 soft. Shows up when he feels like it, get the bleep outta here.
He certainly conveys confidence. Sometimes, confidence appears like effortlessness. But...to get there, you gotta put in a whole lot of work. And Nylander didn't get the way he did or the shape he's in without a whole lot of work.

He led the club in points in the playoffs last year. It is a myth that he has a diva attitude just like it's a myth he's a perimeter player.

He's the most unnecessarily maligned player this club's had since Larry Murphy. I didn't get it then and I don't get it now.

He needs to shoot more and good fast give and go players on his line.
That's the pretty kind of plays fans want to see but Willy is at his best when he drives through traffic and not try and go around it. Last years playoff and start of this year success was pretty much that simple . Even the crazy stop Carolina made on his tip was because he drove to the net .

U realize that Nylander could win the Art Ross if he wanted too? Tavares must have nightmares about Nylander and the unknown effort levels he will bring from game to game. No ones likes unrealiable, but Nylanders insane talent cuts him slack.

They dont have to pass like crazy, just to get the speed up. He can still go through traffic. I am thinking back to basic, like when he was playing with his brother(a give and go player).

Kessel also led the Pens in playoff scoring during his first cup run with the team (averaged more icetime than Malkin too). Pens don't win those two cup without him.
Yes but did he hit anybody? That's the big question. Did he stand along the boards and get his face creamed into the glass? Probably not. He probably chipped the puck to an area, avoided the check while the checker smashed into the boards very loudly, crowd went wild at the sound, Kessel retrieved the puck and scored a goal. He didn't throw or take the body then he had no bearing on the outcome of that series.
