So, just checked FS1's schedule.

Thursday, October 8, which is Game 1 of the ALCS has two slots at the following:

4 PM EDT / 1 PM PDT
8 PM EDT / 5 PM PDT

Friday, October 9, which is Game 2 of the ALCS but game 1 of the NLCS, FS1 has the following blocked off:

4 PM EDT / 1 PM PDT

FOX doesn't have anything blocked off on their schedule just yet.

So Game 1 looks to start either at 4 PM local or 8 PM local.

All the theories here fwiw

Thursday:
- FS1 has 4:00 and 8:00 slots reserved
- on the Twins/Royals and Yankees/Orioles games yesterday they said Game 1's will be at 3:00 and 8:00 (but that could mean that pre-game coverage starts at 3:00)
- Sportsnet has 5:30 and 9:00 slots reserved

Friday:
- FS1 has 4:00 slot reserved
- Sportsnet has 1:00 and 4:00 slots reserved for ALDS games
- Some people I know have been asked to sell 50/50 tickets for Game 2, with the indiciation that the game will either be at 3:00 or 8:00

So basically no one knows anything

So, I unfortunately (or fortunately, I guess) missed the game (yes, I had a good reason for that), but from looking at the box score and the first few pages of the gdt, it definitely wasn't pretty. Was the ump that bad? Was Buerhle that bad and how much did the defence play a part? Either way, an awful end to a great career, unfortunately.
