Would love to add Goldschmidt for our regular 1B. Good contract, damn good player and a stupid GM who makes it possible to even contemplate.

He's as to close to untouchable as there ever is. He's one the best hitters in baseball.

Oh I agree. But then Dave Stupid is about as stupid as there ever is. He is the clear #1 idiot GM now that Amaro is no longer employed.

If the Blue Jays show up and play their best they will beat Texas. That's all.

Thats what I am thinking as well.

We have a big advantage with Price and Stroman going games 1-2, the Rangers can squeeze out a win against Estrada/Dickey for game 3 before we go back to Price to finish them off

Has it been confirmed that Stroman is #2?

I think Price will pitch great. He is determined, it's his contract year, and he is older now. I am not concerned that he has not pitched great in the playoffs in the past.

Maybe they'll go

Holland, Hamels, Gallardo, Lewis instead of

Gallardo, Hamels, Holland, Lewis

I'm not necessarily scared of any team in the playoffs...

But Texas is the ONE team I am weary about. They've always hit us hard.

The past is the past. This is not the same mediocre team that Texas hit around in the past. They did not hit us really hard this year.

Well plus the fact that they've been on their own mini-tear this passed month and a bit.

I just think Toronto is better. Doesn't mean that Toronto will win for sure, I just think Toronto should win if they play well and don't beat themselves. One more reason why I am confident in this team is that they don't beat themselves. Texas will have to beat us fair and square to win, and that was tough to do for any team the past 2 months.
