Yankees will host Houston but it's no longer a slam dunk win for the Yankees. Yankees suck right now. Houston has a good chance of winning.

I just think Toronto is better. Doesn't mean that Toronto will win for sure, I just think Toronto should win if they play well and don't beat themselves. One more reason why I am confident in this team is that they don't beat themselves. Texas will have to beat us fair and square to win, and that was tough to do for any team the past 2 months.

Yep. I agree. Like I said, not really scared of them... Just gonna be watching the games like this:

To be honest, when the Jays made the deals at the trade deadline, I figured they had a good chance at a wild card and an outside chance of squeezing past the Yankees to win the AL East. They far exceeded that and I'm looking forward to more.

Anyone who bet on the Rangers and Jays to win their respective divisions at the deadline can actually afford playoff tickets on Stubhub

I would never bet on a baseball game, especially Texas/Jays. Would anyone here bet on it?

So....

My feeling is if the Astros beat the Yankees, the Jays/Rangers will be the top TV slot compared to the Astros/Royals.

Yankess are through, Jays get demoted.

Either way, looks like a ton of afternoon playoff baseball, which for me on the west coast, isn't favourable at all.

So, just checked FS1's schedule.

Thursday, October 8, which is Game 1 of the ALCS has two slots at the following:

4 PM EDT / 1 PM PDT
8 PM EDT / 5 PM PDT

Friday, October 9, which is Game 2 of the ALCS but game 1 of the NLCS, FS1 has the following blocked off:

4 PM EDT / 1 PM PDT

FOX doesn't have anything blocked off on their schedule just yet.

So Game 1 looks to start either at 4 PM local or 8 PM local.
