The worst of all is Zach deceived his team mates . Marty and Sal thought he would come back after talking to him. Soo not only did he deceive the fans , but his own team mates that just went to war with him and they made the Cup Finals

I sure as hell will boo Parise...My 13( now 14) YO daughter cried when he he left and on top of that I had to re buy her a Jersey which she refused to wear cause it was a signed Parise, a few T shirts a poster and some stuff I got signed for her from him. What a PITA ...

I will not boo Clarkson..He's in the Neids, Rafalski camp on leaving

I probably will only make it out to one Devils game in Newark this year, but if happens to be against the Wild, you bet your ass I'll be booing him. Every single time he touches the puck.

I'd probably boo Clarkson here or there but honestly I'm ok with him leaving. I blame Parise for numbing my emotions.

Pretty much beyond the point where I'd care to boo Parise - but if the moment's right, I wouldn't stop myself from getting in it.

Clarkson, I honestly can't muster up the energy.

He was never going to make that kind of $$ here. Ever. He had one shot to make stupid money, he took it.

I would not boo Clarkie because he didn't d*** around the Devils like Pari$e did. He made his decision quickly and that enabled Lou to get to work sooner.

Zach? Not only would I boo him but I'd boo Suter, too and heckle the hell out of both.

Yes and yes.

Now should they, no and no. They both gave us some great play while here but the both left to play for there home team. I know I'll get flamed for saying that about Parise but I firmly believe it was very hard for Zach to make the decision to leave, but if I was in his shoes and played for the Wild and the Devils offered me a boatload of money to come home (and a friend of mine as well) I would have made the same decision.

disclaimer: I would never have been drafted to begin with, I was mediocre at best.

You're in the small minority buddy. Don't kid yourself, Parise wanted to leave. It was all on Suter and where he wanted to go. It wasn't NJ

How can anyone hate Clarkson, honestly? I'm not booing him. Or doing anything. He left after all. Don't let the door hit ya and all that.
His agent is a ******* though, maybe we should heckle his agent when he returns to the Rock? Seems like those ****ers deserve it nowadays. Even if they aren't actually there. If their rep starts to be ruined all over...

Parise's getting booed for sure, the Wild got booed mercilessly at roll call last week lol

I wouldn't boo or cheer Clarkson personally. He didn't really do anything to earn wrath but its not like he did much during his career to earn an ovation either IMO.

I hope not it's a business and this is the price one pays to be in that business. I didn't like the way Hedberg got pushed out without a word before it happened on draft night. Do we Boo Lou and the Devils? There isn't any loyalty in business in either direction.

I'll still be "rooting" for Clarkson to do well, he's always been a player I've loved to watch play

Parise? He's irrelevant to us and I think anybody booing him is wasting their time and energy, he should just be ignored as if he was irrelevant because especially come April/May/June, he was exactly that - plus the way he left was childish at best so why acknowledge a child?

Both will be. Clarkson will have some cheers added into it. Parise will not get any cheers. I would expect booing every time he touches the puck and crazy cheering if someone lays a good hit on him.

Clarkson won't get booed unless they announce his name in the starting lineup. Parise will be booed every time he touches the puck.

Both will probably be booed, but it won't be anywhere near as bad for Clarkson as it will be for Parise.

I personally wouldn't boo Clarkie, but Zach I would. The way he left was a lot worse than Clarkson. Clarkson said he would like to stay, but didn't act nearly as committed, and he also didn't talk as if he was staying the whole time, and made his decision in a much more quicker fashion so we could make the team better. Rather than stringing us along for days when he knew he wasn't coming back anyway.

I think also making Parise's situation worse is that the team had just come within two wins of the Cup, and he talked about wanting to compete for a Cup. You might think that he had "unfinished business" here. Granted, over the length of his contract, who knows which team will be better (although if Schneider is signed long-term, I think we have the answer) but still, the timing, the public quotes (while Clarkson had talked about his love for the organization, he was pretty silent about that as the time approached).

Similarly, I think Alfredsson will hear a lot of boos in Ottawa because he basically said that he think the Sens will be good, but not good enough to win the Cup before he retires. The boos will be worse the following year when he again doesn't retire and either signs for one more year with Detroit or Pittsburgh (or maybe Boston, to replace Iginla, who goes to one of the other two).

Plus, while many don't want to admit it, it is a lot harder to replace Parise than Clarkson, so people are madder about that.
