If we had wanted to trade him, we would have already.
Because he has little to no value on his cap hit
We'd trade him the second we got a 2nd round pick

Yeah, we would probably get a second round pick for him.Because he has little to no value on his cap hit

Definitely agree. Some days I feel like I'd miss Kerfoot a lot, then some days I'm irritated he's still here
Any one else experience this phenomenon.
Keeping both Kerfoot and Holl isn't an option, the Leafs are over the cap as it stands (although just barely).Definitely agree.
I feel like Dubas is making a good decision by not caving to Sandin.
At the same time, it feels very foolish if end up keeping Holl and Kerfoot and trading Sandin instead. That feels like a very stupid long term move for 2 players that are not moving the needle at all.
Hold that praise until the Dubas/Sandin impasse comes to some sort of resolution and we see who wins the battleDefinitely agree.

This seems premature. The season hasn't even started. Sandin is using a tried and true method of a player with no leverage making Dubas cry.I feel like Dubas is making a good decision by not caving to Sandin.
Why and how would he make Dubas cry? This seems premature. The season hasn't even started. Sandin is using a tried and true method of a player with no leverage making Dubas cry.
You'd have to ask Dubas. But it worked for Nylander and Marner, so I can't blame Sandin for giving it a go.Why and how would he make Dubas cry?
Dubas didn't cry in any of those situations. You'd have to ask Dubas. But it worked for Nylander and Marner, so I can't blame Sandin for giving it a go.
well, maybe cry is the wrong word...Dubas didn't cry in any of those situations.
Signed is the correct word I think. Maybe for too much in your opinion ( judging solely on the gif.)well, maybe cry is the wrong word...

You can run a 20-21 man roster if needed. No need to move anybody yet.Keeping both Kerfoot and Holl isn't an option, the Leafs are over the cap as it stands (although just barely).
Strangely enough Phil da thrill loves TO and still lives here in The Kingsway .. I heard that he has even skated with da TO boys at Ford a bit .. but you are right he likely hates Shanny after he decided to unload him .. Phil da thrill was da 5th wheel who you get after 2C 1D and 1G like in Pittsburgh .. dumb dumb Burke thought he could be a core pieces and OMG that trade might be worst of CBA era
I thought they were over even with that? You can run a 20-21 man roster if needed. No need to move anybody yet.
There is a way to squeeze a 20 man roster out for a few days with 7D if you need too. Not ideal but no rush to move guysI thought they were over even with that?
Am I glad we don't have huberdeau. Marner and Nylander look awesome compared to a player that will eventually be paid 10.5 at 37 years old. But lets all still cry we are paying for 10.9 for a 2 year in a row 1st team all star who will likely hit top 10 all time leaf career points next year at 26You'd have to ask Dubas. But it worked for Nylander and Marner, so I can't blame Sandin for giving it a go.

They could waive HollView attachment 580990
Over the cap by about 43k even if Simmonds is demoted for a league min guy like Joey Anderson. That last 43k could be made up if NAK is demoted instead of Simmonds, but I doubt NAK is a guy on the roster fringes.
That would solve the issue but realistically I doubt that happens. They could waive Holl
Although the 1.125M that would get buried from Holl and replaced with Benn/Mete at 750k would solve the 43k over the cap issue from bonus overages.Dead cap space doesn't help.
I doubt it too, but there is not much to worry about at this point. Leafs will be complient at the beginning of the season. That would solve the issue but realistically I doubt that happens.
