I still think 5 million over 6 years is the ticket. I'd love that contract.
Probably waiting to see if our mayor will come through on his promise to bring running water and electricity to the city.
Why aren't:
Stone, Gaudreau, Ristolainen, Monahan, Nichushkin, Lindholm, Dumba, Corrado, etc.
signed yet?
Most likely because they're RFA's with no arbitration rights, and teams have time to negotiate these contracts. Not sure why Trouba gets singled out.

After DeKeyser gets that contract you have to assume Trouba gets more
He wants out of Winnipeg which is why he is asking for more money from them in the hopes that they will trade him.
one of these is not like the others
Care to add something to the conversation, or did you simply want to nitpick my quick glance at generalfanager regarding the RFA status of a variety of players? My point stands - there are many unsigned RFA's without Arbitration rights. There's time to sign Trouba, and if Chevy's past RFA signings are any indication: he's in no hurry.
Can you blame him wanting out of Winnipeg?
Yup only the first year is rfa. That DeKeyser contract is so lame for us but it chews up a bunch of UFA years right?

Because no young player wants to be on a team that could be the next great dynasty?
Right?

because of the sweet contract McD is on,
McDonagh + Rangers 2017 4th + Rangers 2018 5th
for
Trouba + Jets 2017 2nd + Jets 2018 3rd

Dynasty? Lol thats laughable. Lets see the Jets actually win a playoff series first.
