Why are the Devils 21-4-1? insane easy schedule, makes perfect sense.

Why none are listening, nor believe what i say, you are all fools thinking Devils are legit.

This guy gets it. Say what you want about his takes but he is spot on about the Devils. Coasting on an easy schedule up to this point. It’s going to be a reality check later this month when they take on Boston twice along with other tough games against Carolina, Florida, the Rangers and Dallas. The Devils are peaking early and it’s all down hill from here. I’m getting sick of it as a long time Devils fan. Might be time to seek another team to cheer for.

If I look at your user history, will I see posts about why it made no sense that Colorado started winning a lot?????

Devils will easily beat these teams! Too many slow Skating teams on this list. So far the Devils have beaten the fast skating teams like the Avs, Oilers, Leafs, Wings, Senators,...etc.

you mentioned only 20 opponents, the devils won against. you proabably have to find the missing team and adjust the reasoning. otherwise it doesn't make sense.

Devils are now of 1 of 6 teams in NHL history to have 21 wins in first 26 games of the season.

Do you know what they have in common with the other 5 teams?

they were all 1 of only 6 teams in NHL history to have insanely easy schedules

Not sure but no surprise they also had an insanely easy schedule in the playoffs.

(Also Boston will likely join that list this season too so.. can't both win it all anyways!)

I don’t disagree New Jersey has had an easier schedule, but they’ve been excellent on pretty much every category there is. Whether they can keep this up for another 50 games remains to be seen, but they are a good team that will make the playoffs and potentially compete for the cup and their inexperience hasn’t slowed them down one bit.

Devils are better than the pens, the lightning, the blues, the panthers, the kings, the kraken, the wild and the jets.

The only team I’ll say is better than the devils atm are the bruins. It’s a toss up with the knights.

The whole team skates so well, even their third and fourth lines- and they continue to roll all four. They wear teams out midway through the 2nd.
