It's aged like most of George's threads lolthis post is aging like a gallon of milk next to a furnace
It doesn’t count but the 05-06 team had a 15 game win streak. 11 games to end the season and a 4 game sweep in round 1 of the playoffs. It wasn't, but thirteen after tonight ties the record from 2000-01, which is probably the best team in franchise history.
Ed was the better team tonight, Skinner with his worst game of the season everything is clicking for the devils. Definitely getting some puck luck. Good for there fans

Did you watch the game? Edmonton was dominating the play, the devils cashed In on every chance they had. Tatars goal was pure puck luck, amd great hand eye don't get me wrong. Amd the Skinner mishap took away any momentum Edmonton had.It seemed pretty even to me. Edmonton just doesn't have the offensive or defensive depth of NJ. Also, if you take away pretty much the only goal you can really put on the Edmonton goalie, the game is still 4-2. And I'd venture a guess that 13 wins in a row is just a bit more than puck luck.
I saw Oiler Defencemen glide along the ice and not cover the front of the net at all which allowed two goals if thats what you mean.Did you watch the game? You wanna talk puck luck let's talk about Draisaitl's goal.Did you watch the game? Edmonton was dominating the play, the devils cashed In on every chance they had. Tatars goal was pure puck luck, amd great hand eye don't get me wrong. Amd the Skinner mishap took away any momentum Edmonton had.
"Puck luck".
Did you watch the game? Edmonton looked like the better team in the first period, then it looked like devils took over in the second and continued thru the third. “Dominating” is a bit much, their power play maybe, but def not 5v5Did you watch the game? This speaks to how young this group is. They think this means something.
I get the sentiment tho’ and they deserve to be happy.
Devil’s gonna join the other four teams on that list and get eliminated from the playoffs in embarrassing fashion?

It certainly isn't meaningless. This streak is pretty much going to single handedly put us in the playoffs.
They just might.Neat. Maybe they can raise a banner.

Lol huh? I get the ultimate goal is the cup but there's room to celebrate other milestones. Tying the franchise record winning streak isnt meaningless

that’s because it does mean something, especially considering how bad we’ve been in recent years. but you knew that
