Why are the Devils 21-4-1? insane easy schedule, makes perfect sense.

They're fast and relentless. Good recipe for success if they can stay healthy. I think they won't go far in the playoffs but they're still one of the youngest teams in the league, I think you will find they will be good for a while.

I don't think our fanbase expects to destroy veteran laden teams come playoffs, the kids getting some experience will be tremendous in itself. Also depends what Fitz does at the deadline if anything. Btw, really impressed with the Habs tonight, Vanecek was the only reason it wasn't 2-0 or 3-1 Habs at the end of the first.

JFK would be alive if haula was taking the shot

And Lincoln

I'm not going to say what I expect of the playoffs when it's still November. I'll see how they're playing then. If they continue to play how they have been playing then there's quite literally no reason they can't beat anyone.

For sure, it's crazy because I think the Devils would skate the Islanders into the ground in a long series but they have the advantage due how veteran that team is + Sorokin can steal games/a series. Getting far ahead but it's just nice to see this team's long rebuild taking shape into a perennial playoff contender.

Wasn't Lindy universally hated by the fan base a month ago?
Yeah he was but he redeemed himself & the crowd 2 games ago was chanting sorry Lindy. I was one of those who wanted Ruff fired (as you can tell from my avatar) but I refuse to change it because ever since I did is when this winning streak started. I still think Ruff is done after this season and Brunnette should take the mantle who runs a similar style.

they are playing to lose a game. in the first period they gifted too many chances to the canadiens. against a better team exchanges scoring chances is dangerous

And the game ended with Montreal only having 26 shots, because after the 1st they played their game. One bad period a bad game doesn't make. It would be best not to make a habit out of that kind of bad play, but you can't expect perfection all the time.
