I agree with this. His teams compete, they draft and develop fairly well and he always has a good pool of goalies. My only concern is he hasn't had a ĺot of luck in retaining his top end players when it comes to signing them. I dont know how much that has to do with him or they just don't want to play in Columbus.

Unfortunately, I think that is Columbus.

I like his trades (Zibanejad, does he get credit for Fox?), I'm not so sure I love his signings (Trouba, Shattenkirk). Like his mid-late 1st round drafting Miller, Schneider, Lundkvist, but slightly down on KK, Lias Andersson, Kravstov so far. Make sure he doesn't sign any aging D men to big contracts and we'd be sitting pretty lol

Trouba was market value, no issues with it, takes the hard match ups so Fox can do his thing. He generally want consensus BPA with his picks...some worked out, some didn't. He's also not the guy doing all the amateur scouting

I wouldn't say that. Management probably indirectly, has to get a feel for what fans are saying. Where would they find these fan thoughts? Sites like this ofcourse and this is one of if not the biggest hockey board message site. Funny but we see similar thoughts posted on instagram, twitter, etc. I'm pretty sure fan opinion can sway management when they are not quite sure just what the right move would be.

Quenville was management in Chicago when this whole scandal took place. It is written he did not want to deal with the situation while the playoffs were talking place.
