Who is the softest team in the playoffs? Which team brings to most grit?

I think the Jets Knights series will be alot softer then what we would expect, until someone pisses off someone else. Both don't wanna be busted up after the 1st round.

The Leafs are soft not because a lack of grit, but a lack of psyche. Faced with a little bit of adversity they will fold like a house of cards. I am fully prepared to see some next level pouting on the faces of the Leafs superstars. Soft as baby poo.

Lightning are winning that one.

A few years ago absolutely. Not the case anymore.

I'm sorry, but until they prove it, I won't believe it. They have done nothing to shed that label. Get past the Bolts and we can talk.

Yeah I expected that answer but just because they lose doesn't mean whatever you say about them is true. One reason I can't wait to win a round, so many people think whatever nonsense they say is confirmed when the Leafs lose.

It is called evidence. You're opinion or gut feeling means squat until it is corroborated by something that is tangible.

And your opinion or gut feeling is not proven correct by losing. If I said the Habs missed the playoffs this year because some random season ticket holder failed to renew and the Habs have never missed with their attendance it's nonsense. Habs missing doesn't prove I am correct.

Like I said, they were mentally soft vs the Habs but they certainly weren't last year against the Bolts and it was not why they lost or anywhere close to it.

The facts are facts. My opinion of the leafs is supported by these facts. They are mentally fragile and regular choke artists. SOFT. Any other opinion on this is wishful thinking and blind homerism.

Until they can prove otherwise, this is fact.

I will admit. They are good on paper. And **IF** they get past the Bolts it could swing momentum and confidence in their favour and go deep. But, they haven't done that yet. Another first round collapse is staring them directly in the eye.

So if I said they lost because they didn't eat a vegetarian diet, this is evidence of this according to you.

Like I said, losing does not mean whatever you think is wrong with the team is factual. It doesn't mean they are bad defensively, soft, or anything else. But most importantly, that 2017 team is about as far removed from how the 2023 roster plays the game as you can get.

Only Leaf fans who actually watch the games can comment on that though

Only Leafs fans can comment on and give an objective opinion of how the Leafs play the game?

Okay dude, you might as well head on back to Leaf Land if you are looking for an echo chamber.

I have probably watched as many Leafs games this year as I have Habs (damn blackouts in Southern Ontario). The Leafs are mentally fragile. The question in the OP was who is soft in the playoffs. I have had lots of time to watch Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares and Reilly in the playoffs simply not GET IT DONE. The Leafs have shown they are soft. The evidence for the softness is the losing and choking.

I don't understand or care about your ridiculous vegetable comment, it has nothing to do with anything and is nothing but a distraction... Whataboutism.

No, but I do think people who actually watch the games have a better opinion than those who don't.

This is how I know you didn't.

The point is, they lost for different reasons at different points in time. Earlier in the streak, they lost because they were bad defensively. This is not the case anymore and saying that is why they continue to lose makes you look uninformed. In that same vein, they lost some series because mentally they were not strong enough and that is a fact. However that was several years ago as well and not why they lost last year.

It's not whataboutism, it's me saying a loss does not mean you or anyone else is necessarily correct.

And what exactly makes you correct?

Speaking of soft, the greens feel nice this time of year.

Got the clubs out yet?
