Who is the softest team in the playoffs? Which team brings to most grit?

Knies will be fine, but that's Marc Staal who is a few years from being good, so that's not that impressive.

Might as well post clips of someone out battling Chris f***ing Wideman

It's not meant to be a clip that show's he is the GOAT at board battles. It's just highlighting his game which is boards and tight spaces play which is why we were so excited to add him as we need that. Then a poster says he is soft, makes no sense it's like he didn't even know who Knies was

Years past I might have said Islanders are the gritiest but not sure if they are now. I think it is either the Stars or the Bruins.

For softest, I think it might be the LA kings or Jets.

Curious how others see the playoff teams on the pugnacity scale
definitely not the kings or jets. NJ, NYR, Carolina, Toronto (even though it's improved) etc...are all more skilled than gritty teams

The answer is clearly the Hurricanes or Devils. From the west, its clearly either the Kings or Avs.

Anyone still saying the leafs are still living in the past or just trolling because they're leaf haters lmao

Grittiest team is most likely Tampa or Minnesota.

grittiest avs or stars

softest devils then the leafs

east coast bias lol
How are Avs one of the Grittiest lmao. Assuming we're only talking physicality, Avs are one of the softest. Even more so with Landeskog out. They play a fast skilled game.

Devils, Hurricanes, Avs, Kings are all soft

I don’t remember NJ being physical at all when they played the Islanders. If anything, the Islanders physicality forced NJ into making mistakes leading to Islanders scoring chances.
New Jersey and Carolina are def the correct answers when it comes to soft in the East.

All I remember from Carolina when it came to physicality was Svech trying to get away with something dirty. He’s out so that won’t happen thankfully.

I really don’t have enough watch time with the Leafs this year to make a claim on this one way or another.

But what I do know is referring to a single roster player and then two non roster players as reasons for not being soft says very little.
Because that dude you're quoting is a troll. Simmonds and Clifford are scrubs.

The leafs have added Acciari, McCabe, Schenn, Lafferty, and Orielly....to the mix that also has Zach-Aston Reese, Giordano and known Pest Bunting.

Leafs may not be the toughest, but they are far from being the softest lmao

I never claimed otherwise? I'd suggest 99% of posters here have only watched the games their team played vs other teams. I follow other western teams so yeah just going off of their record late in the season and what I saw, I think their big guns up front are soft and will get bullied by Vegas. Especially Wheeler and Schifele

Your evidence is a clip with starts with a greasy hit that gets no team response and then Ehlers getting hit so hard he gets whiplash?

Then Reaves has his way again and the Jets take a major penalty in response. Great toughness.

Dillon dealt with Hartman, Lowry dealt with Reaves and Pionk delivered some nice retribution with less than a minute to play all while the Jets secured their playoff birth.

I’ll take the PP’s in a critical game and mete out justice at a more timely point.

I think someone who is merely interested in justifying his ignorant, wrong opinion on the Jets would come to your conclusion that the Jets played the Wild soft in that game.

Carolina softest as usual, Devils, Kings and maybe Colorado without Manson/MacDermid are in the next tier. Toronto without Schenn would be in that mix.

Minnesota and Tampa towards the top, but most of the teams in these playoffs have plenty of battlers. Tough to say who is the grittiest.

Edit-Can't believe I forgot Boston, they really have it all.

Seems people seem to think grittiest is another word for dirtiest.

Tampa is not as gritty as everyone thinks, they are a dirty team though.

Perry just lost a fight to Bunting... No clue how, Bunting is like 165 lbs.

Schenn just fed Maroon too.

Why remove a player from the roster to make a point? Seems silly.

Schenn is one of the most physical players in the league and his presence makes a difference, especially being on D. Every single team has guys who will try hard and hit plenty, sacrifice etc.

Tampa has plenty of grit whether you want it to be true or not, but it seems like your dislike for them is the reason for the comment. They have demonstrated their grittiness in all kinds of ways for 3 straight years during deep cup runs, it's foolish to deny.
