Who is the softest team in the playoffs? Which team brings to most grit?

I understood your post but I think you missed the point with mine? Dallas IS one of the softest teams in the whole league, and the fact that you find them one of the grittiest in the playoffs says something about how weak this league is physically compared to the good old days...
More like any team that tries to play just goons on the 4th line in today's game where every line has skilled players has no date in the playoffs. A lot of the tough guys in the league are power forwards now.

The softest team in the league has somehow injured, Hedman, Jeannot, Cirelli.

I'll leave Cernak off the list because that was just a disgraceful hit by Bunting.

But for a team this soft, what is happening ?

Remember Dubas’ ridiculous, early idea of a contending team, based on a video game type roster, and how so many people argued that he won’t have to learn how to actually construct a team that can play playoff hockey?

What I have liked so far from the Leafs is they aren’t offering anyone respect. By that I mean it doesn’t matter if it’s a Stamkos or who, they are trying to punish them.

Except the Bruins who were the most superior team of all times this the reg season? Two out of three of Hathaway, Foligno and Greer are on the 4th line any given time, which is pretty gritty.

Leafs are soft like baby bunny fur

Post trade deadline Jets have been much grittier than their recent opponents

Dallas may not have a ton of hits, but I certainly wouldn't describe that team as soft. There's a lot of size, it's just used more for strong puck protection than than hitting.

Remember, most of the time players are only recording hits when they don't have the puck.
This. Absorbing physicality is just as tough as dishing it out. If not more.

Interesting question. I guess starting off with my definition. I see grit as being a mix of toughness (hits, getting to the hard areas, mental fortitude) and getting under the skin of a team (sticks active around teams ankles, hits are more borderline, love to participate in scrums)

For me I see the Wild, Bruins, and Kings (in that order).

I am having a hard time picking a softest, I don't see a 2010-11 Vancouver team amongst this playoff group; which is my guideline for soft (or maybe they were just against an insanely gritty bruins team).

Out of the teams I have watched (so not Rangers, Panthers, Hurricanes, Islanders) I think maybe Avalanche. Simply because their game is so fast and skilled.
